Chapter #5

Not exactly

    by: Norman33 Author IconMail Icon
The doctor turns red and says, "Not exactly, we wouldn't get a street hooker at this hospital. As you can imagine the procedure we used with you is cutting edge and has great potential. As such the funding and approval for it comes from some very well placed sources." I'm no dummy. I know what he is eluding to. He was talking about the government, or some private organization connected to the government. It really doesn't matter much anymore as the two are intertwined. The doctor continues speaking, "I guess you should know what little we know of her, your history. We got a call the other night from an individual connected to our funding source. He had an incident with the young woman you now are. She was a high dollar call girl. This man likes to live on the edge. He gave her some of the new street drug to spice things up and she overdosed. This was her first time using this drug or any drug as far as we can tell. Her system was clean. On top of that she hadn't been a call girl very long as he preferred girls that were fresh. She doesn't have an arrest record and did not have any identification on her. The name you know have along with supporting documents was dropped off this morning. That's all I now. You have a new live Ms. O'Brian, a fresh start. I'll let you get acquainted with yourself and be back in a few hours. We shouldn't have to keep you very long. Another individual will come in later and brief you on the conditions of your participation in this project." With that the doctor leaves. I look back in the mirror at my new self again. "A fresh start", I say to myself. I wonder what I can do with my new life. Thoughts of continuing my previous profession cross my mind. I let out a giggle as I imagine the looks on my previous co-workers seeing me like I am now. They would never take a woman like this seriously. Hot and young, but with nearly two decades of experience. "They wouldn't know what hit them", I mutter to myself.

You have the following choices:

1. Check myself out more

2. Hours later

*Pen* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
