Looking at you Kris of course felt bad. You were just in ‘Her’ Pokemon’s mouth and played with. Its embarrassing her honestly, that her Pokemon would even consider that. You watch as her gaze moved over to her Pokemon who was trying to play it all natural and coy.
“Chikorita, I'm really disappointed with you. This is a poor shrunken fella. How could you even think of chewing on him.”
“Chiko...” It said as its being scolded. Its eyes on the ground.
“Im gonna have to put you back in your Pokeball until were done. Im sure he doesn't want to be anywhere near you right now” Kris said reaching for her Pokeball with her free hand.
“Rita!” It panicked. You could hear it in the Pokemon’s voice. You assume any time not battling and out of the Pokeball is well wanted. And her sad eyes were getting to you
“No, this is the only way your gonna learn” She said grabbing the ball and pulling it out “Im putting you in timeout!”
“Actually” You say getting the trainers attention “I mean she's only a first form Pokemon and she doesn't look that old. She probably doesn't know any better.”
“Really” The girl said “But she ate you!”
“She did and i didn't like that but you know, as long as she doesn't do it again its fine right?” You say to her. The Trainer looked at you until she brought her hand down and forward to the grass type. The giant Chikorita once again looking at you.
“Okay, he's convinced me to let you stay out. But you've got to apologise to him for putting him in your mouth. Got it?”
“Chiko! Chiko Rit Rita” It said as you just assume that was an apology.
“Okay, now thank him for convincing me to keep you out”
“Chiko!” It said as the joy in its voice made you know it was thankful. You get pulled away from the Pokemon as you found yourself held close to the girl. Standing up to her full height as she plans to move.
“Ok, lets go back to the camp so we can figure this all out. Lets Go Chikorita” The trainer said. The three of you traveled back. She had her eyes on you on most of the trip, just staring at you and holding you kind of protectively. She didn't even bother looking at her Pokemon who was jumping around, clearly very happy and fortunate to still be out of its Pokeball.
Once arriving at the Camp, the trainer sat back on the ground and held you close. Her Chikorita coming up as you don't fear the Pokemon as much now. Now thats its Trainer is near and its been scolded about eating you. “There now we can talk safely, um.... you said you got small like this but you don't know. Are you sure? I mean if you think really hard maybe you can figure it out... uh sorry whats your name?”
“To be honest i don't know my name, or my home or anything. Im just drawing a blank everytime i even try to think” You told the girl as she didn't look happy at the answer.
“Wow. That much suck, not knowing anything about yourself.” She said feeling bad, before lighting up. “Well maybe you want to know something about me! My name is Kris. This is my Chikorita, and were on a journey to become the Johto League Champion! Or Kanto League? Im still bit fuzzy on the details. Anyway I'm from New Bark Town, my hair is naturally this colour and this style and i just started my Pokemon journey recently.”
Hearing her talk about herself did calm you about, just letting you know something about someone. Something you can't for anyone else “Just started your journey, do you have a gym badge yet?”
Kris lit up, talking about Pokemon “Well not yet, but were approaching our first one. Falkner. He's the Gym leader at Violet City and he's gonna be our first one. He uses flying type from what I've been told. Now hold on, your probably thinking ‘Isn't Grass weak to Flying, you can't win’ Well what i have to say that is I've got a second Pokemon. Its a Hoothoot we just caught. Now its not as trained up as Chikorita is but were gonna put in some effort in the next coming days. Make the Hoothoot the best. Ive read a lot about Hoothoot’s so I'm thinking I'm gonna teach it Hynosis and work off combos with that. I was thinking about-”
“Kris, you really like Pokemon don't you?”
“Yeah!” She said “being Champion’s my dream. And I'm on the first step to that dream. Im so excited.”
