You knew it was something odd, but you didn’t care. Some of your best and favorite memories were those tending to the pregnant cows. Your toes curled at feeling their furred hides stretching around the calves within. You bit your lip at the recollection of how big some of the best breeders got. The effect wasn’t quite the same when you remembered when your sister got knocked up. Helping her—and sneaking more than a few tender touches of her swollen belly—proved close but not anywhere near enough for you. Burying your secret desires proved challenging, but necessary. Now that you were all alone on the farm though, the need continued to flare and wouldn’t be denied.
Even still, you forced yourself to shove it aside for now. It wouldn’t do to have the farm fall apart or anything because you couldn’t hold yourself together.
Shivering in anticipation, you took your breakfast places back inside. You cleaned them in a hurry before throwing on some overalls to be at least somewhat covered. Your parents wouldn’t approve of you working like that, but it wasn’t like they were there to stop you. Then you set about doing your chores. You were fortunate that most of the farm could take care of itself for the most part. The few things that you did need to do were pivotal though so you threw yourself at the tasks. You saved the cattle for last though; otherwise you might have gotten too excited and overeager.
