Akira woke up with a start. It didn't take long for him to realize that he had been taken to the Velvet Room. However, he was much less psyched to realize that he was still at his near microscopic size. As if nothing happened, Akira kept still, deciding staying on the cot was his best course of action. The last thing he wanted was to get near the twins. He could barely tell the two apart, aside from their distinct personalities that he dubbed, "Chill and Kill."
"Listen up, inmate!" Caroline yelled, slapping her electrified night stick against the cell walls. "We know your situation, but if you try anything to escape, I WILL CRUSH YOU!" As if to emphasize her point, she stamped her foot.
Definitely Kill, Akira thought.
"The prisoner knows escape is futile," Justine mentioned coldly. "I doubt he will attempt a breakout at this stature."
Before Akira could say anything, a low grumble came from the distance.
"I see you've met a rather unfortunate complication." Igor chuckled condescendingly. "It seems you have been outplayed."
"Outplayed?" Akira asked.
Igor nodded. "Yes, outplayed. Your plan to fool the traitor led to your current situation."
Akira's brow furrowed. "You mean?"
"I've said too much. Although, you would have figured it out, had you not been concerned for your survival."
Although, he wasn't too surprised that it was all Akechi's doing, it didn't stop him from getting angry.
"The game is not over yet," Igor comforted. "Although, I cannot offer direct assistance, I can still offer my services of persona."
Once again, Igor's cryptic messages weren't clicking just yet. The only time he could use his personas were in the...
Suddenly invigorated, Akira nodded. "I know what to do now. I just need to get Kawakami into the Metaverse, and we could use our personas to get her attention."
Igor nodded approvingly. "I see you've figured it out. The path into the Metaverse is already prepared for her entry. Although it may be up to her and her alone to reach it though."
"Th-thank you Igor!" Akira shouted, running off towards the bed.
"Before you go," Justine called. "..."
