This choice: a massive and overpowered Futaba standing over the village, looking down at him! • Go Back...Chapter #7In Which Giant Classes are Broken by: Frost   (You guys can blame the new Fire Emblem for sapping away what little free time I have left. I've been digging it so much, I'm considering going back to my roots and writing FE size junk again with a Three Houses interactive if there's enough interest.)
“Oh there you are, pipsqueak!” Came a booming voice that seemed to come from above Ryuji. “A pirate class? Oh, you’re so vanilla.”
“Wh-what the eff!?” Ryuji cried, finding a massive shadow hanging over him. He turned around, finding himself staring up at a player avatar that reminded him suspiciously of… “FUTABA!?”
“In the flesh,” she said cockily, resting her arms on her hips. “Or really, the pixels distributed by lines of code. Whatever, you get what I mean.”
Futaba, or Alibaba as her player name above her head led you to believe, was several stories tall. Her avatar resembled her for all intents and purposes yet had a bit more upgrades in certain body part sliders, which kept Ryuji gawking for a bit too long. She was also skimpily dress as she looked like a barbarian wrapped in a fur loin cloth and a top with one strap over her shoulder. Her feet were bare with her large, powerful toes digging deep into the earth’s surface.
“How’d the eff did you get so big?”
“I'm a giant class, duh,” Futaba said back, squatting down to get a closer look at her tiny friend, while also giving Ryuji a rather uncomfortable view beneath her pelt skirt. “Also, you’re on the internet, Ryuji. You can say fuck.”
Ryuji rubbed his arm sheepishly. “My mom’s in the other room.”
Futaba grinned. “You’re such a pure boi.” She pinched him between her fingers and lifted him up to her face. “C’mon, let me get you acquainted to my private server.”
“Private server?”
“Yup, yup!” The giant redhead chirped as she strolled through the marketplace, crushing merchant stands beneath her feet with every other step. “I plan on getting the other Phantom Thieves online so we can do quests and build a town and stuff.”
“How long until we get the others?”
“Depends,” Futaba answered while casually crushing a low level mob with a simple stomp. “Haru bought a VR set up, but when I tried to help her log on, she freaked out and threw a controller against the wall.”
Ryuji looked down and immediately wished he didn’t. “C-can you not dangle me around? I don’t want to fall.”
Futaba rolled her eyes. “Fine, give me a second to equip you.” She stood in place and pulled up a menu before her avatar simply dumped him into her cleavage.
Ryuji struggled against the walls of flesh that kept him trapped. As much as he tried to pull himself out, he couldn’t. The status on his own menu read “equipped” which most likely meant that he was stuck like this until Futaba decided to release him. He wasn’t entirely sure if it was his own face heating up or that of the VR headset.
“So, what do I get for being a pirate class? I just picked it cause it sounded cool.”
“High speed and bonus experience using swords,” Futaba answered. “Oh, and you automatically unlock captaining ships on start.”
“Sick!”
Futaba gestured to the landscape. “Not if we’re in a mountain biome.”
“Damn it…” Ryuji growled. "How do I be a giant? That sounds much cooler."
"Too late," Futaba shot back. "You're locked until you hit a certain level. Sucks to suck. If you had bothered to read, you'd have figured out that the giant class is busted. Enough chit-chat. Let’s get to some fun stuff.”   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
