Chapter #7A big crush for a tiny girl. by: Unknown It was just another day at Shujin Academy, students going to and fro from their classes, teachers giving lessons, just another day... for everyone except Kasumi Yoshizawa.
"Today's the day, the day I tell Kurusu-Senpai how I feel!" She thought to herself. Akira Kurusu was a Second-Year transfer student that Kasumi had a massive crush on. He was smart, witty, handsome, and more importantly, kind. Akira had been very supportive and nice to her, even before they had really become friends. She never believed any of the awful rumors about him, there's no way someone as upstanding as her Senpai would ever do any of the horrible things that the rumors say he did!
She gazed down at her phone, looking over the text she was going to send to him
Kasumi: Hello Senpai, If it's okay with you, may we meet for lunch? I have a private matter I wish to discuss with you.
Checking it over once more to make sure it sounded good, she sent it, and began tapping her foot impatiently. She wanted a response soon, the crushing weight of her secret was getting to be too much, and she desperately wanted to get it off her chest.
"I can already see it, me confessing my love, and Senpai smoothly wrapping his arm around me as he says--!" Her daydreaming was cut short by the buzz of her phone.
 Kurusu-Senpai : Sure, let's meet at the school roof. A friend of mine will leave the door unlocked.
Stopping herself from squealing aloud, Kasumi grabbed her things and almost ran out the door as soon as class ended. She got to the roof and found that the door was unlocked, just like Senpai said it would be!
Sitting down at one of the spare desks that were kept up there, Kasumi pulled out her phone and looked through her pictures of the two of them, and images flooded her mind of their new relationship together. "I wonder what our kids would look like..."
She shook her head. "No, don't get ahead of yourself now. You need to actually tell him how you feel before you can start thinking like that..." Suddenly, her phone screen started flashing and making weird noises. Looking down at it, she noticed a strange app icon that looked like an eye on a red background.
"Stupid phone, why do you have to mess up now--!?" A strange beam came out of her phone, blinding her.
When her vision returned, she noticed one glaring change in her surroundings, namely that everything was several orders of magnitude larger than before.
"What... why did everything get so big... Or wait, am I small now?!" Kasumi stumbled back, and bumped into a large red object that she quickly identified as her phone.
"You stupid piece of--!!" She kicked it hard, only resulting in a stumped toe. Comparing herself to it, she was only an inch tall.
"Okay, Senpai is on his way up here now, he'll find me, and then he'll take care of me until he can find a way to get me back to normal..." Her cheeks began to redden rapidly at the thought of her Senpai letting her live with him and taking care of her while she was so vulnerable. "Maybe being this small might not be sooo bad."
She scrambled up onto her phone and began patiently waiting for her Senpai's arrival. Eventually, she could hear the booming footsteps of someone approaching, and the door swung open to reveal a teenager with glasses and messy black hair, Akira Kurusu, her Senpai!
"There he is! SENPAI!! DOWN HERE!!" She yelled up at him with all her might, even if he doesn't notice her, surely he would notice her phone on the ground. He's always been very observant, and her phone was still on....  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
