This choice: The two accidentally end up in the giant bowl of popcorn Yukiko is making. • Go Back...Chapter #6Sharing Popcorn with Friends by: Frost   Teddie climbed his way up Yukiko’s robe with reckless abandon. Yu followed the exact path the blond boy used. However, no amount of grip or upper body strength could have prepared them for Yukiko sneezing. The sudden jump came out of nowhere, sending the two shrunken boys flying in the air. They closed their eyes, terrified of landing on the floor and ending up stains.
Luckily for them, their lives weren’t faded to end just then. No, they had a much worse fate in store as they had landed in the alien landscape of the popcorn bowl. They tumbled downwards, falling deep enough to lose sight of the giantess who carried the bowl. Every slight movement Yukiko made caused earthquakes for the duo to deal with.
“S-sensei! We’re alive!” Teddie cheered.
“My god, we owe our lives to popcorn,” Yu remarked, nonplussed. The world shifted around them, and they nestled deep into an indent of a piece of popcorn for safety. “Let’s get out of here before we get eaten.”
“Relax, senpai,” Teddie spoke up. “They’re teenage girls. How much could they eat?”
The answer to that was “a lot.” Unfortunately, they were going to learn that from experience.
As the movie played, the girls began to dig into the popcorn mindlessly. Some, like Naoto and Rise, gingerly ate the popcorn, grabbing a piece or two every couple of seconds. Chie, however, ate by the handful. She stuffed her face with the snack with no care for keeping off crumbs. The more popcorn she could shovel in, the better.
“S-sensei, I’m scared!” Teddie yelled, jumping onto Yu.
Yu grimaced, realizing that things were looking pretty hopeless at the moment. The rumbling from above only spelled disaster for the tiny duo. And eventually, they were scooped up by one of Chie’s generous handfuls of popcorn. They felt nauseous as they were lifted into the air at a ridiculous speed, heading closer to Chie's awaiting mouth. Yu couldn't help but think about how his fate was quickly going to end up the same as the hundreds of cows that were sacrificed to Chie's hungry stomach.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
