After 10-15 minutes, Liz came into the tea room to start gathering up all the workers for the start of the shift. "Okay, we have a busy night tonight and we will need to have everybody on deck so that we can get all the work that needs to be done, done." She looked around and noticed that she had most of their attention. "Kiran and Liam, loves, I really need your attention please." Kiran blushed slightly at being reprimanded by her supervisor, while Liam, not really caring about what he was doing, just sighed and reluctantly put his phone away.
"Sorry, Liz." Kiran apologized as she put her phone back into her locker.
"It's alright." Liz replied as she posted a paper up on the board so that everyone knew where they were going to be working. "Elizabeth told me that if you guys get everything done before it's time to go, you all will be able to leave early tonight." This seemed to put a new bounce in everybody's step as they made their way over to the staffing board to see who they will be working with.
"Aww, man." Josh grumbled as he glanced over at the work assignments. "I really don't like working in the pet food aisle. Does anybody want to swap with me?"
"I will." Claire responded as she raised her hand. "If you don't mind working in the seasonal aisle." In the last couple shifts, she'd had to work with the same girls and wanted a small break.
Josh looked over at the work assignments and noticed that he'd be working with Ellie and Phoebe. "I guess I can do that."
"Okay, no more changes." Liz replied as she put her foot down. "Let's go back to work."
