For literal months you've been trying to get Elise to notice you. You aren't the strongest, or the tallest, or the handsome-est, but you're friendly enough and you'd heard enough not-so-positive things about Elise that you thought you could at least get some attention from the popular girl, but alas, you'd gotten nothing. Every time you'd start a conversation with her, she'd give you some short answer that made it impossible to talk to her. That was, until last week when she invited you to her house for a party she was throwing.
