This choice: Inquire Sunset about it, she might know something • Go Back...Chapter #6Sunfull Inquiry by: Chill   "Would Sunset Shimmer report to the Principal's office please," Celestia said over the intercom, clasping her hands as she waited with eagerness to speak to her pupil. Meanwhile Sunset walked the halls, nay, jogged them, as she made her way towards the principal's office. If Principal Celestia summoned her, surely it must have been of great importance!
She opened the door, almost slamming it out of eagerness as she said, "Principal Celestia is everything alright?" Panting a bit as sweat had formed in her brow.
"Everything is fine Sunset," Celestia said with a warm smile, "Please sit down, I have a few questions to ask you." Sunset, grateful that nothing had gone wrong sighed with relief. "Oh thank goodness," she spouted, "I thought some weird magical accident had occurred." Celestia couldn't help but smirk a bit as she said that.
"So how are you Sunset?" Celestia asked as she brought her hands forward.
"Doing fine myself." The blonde redhead responded.
"And the girls?"
"Oh they're doing fine, totally," She said as she waved a hand in the air. "Just keeping the magic in check, hanging out, doing homework, you know the usual."
"And how are you keeping this magic in check?" Celestia then asked.
"Ooooohhh, uhm," Sunset had blushed a bit as she laughed to shake it off. "Well we usually try to identify where magic is leaking from, close in on its location and then....absorb the excess."
"And what do you do with the excess?" Celestia asked with wide eyes.
"Well....we......uuhhh...." Sunset backed up a bit as she was too embarrassed to say. Celestia leaned forward as she asked again, "And.....?" Sunset composed herself as she cleared her throat, "Well you see Principal Celestia, it's a bit personal for me to say, but-"
"But you use it for your own purpose, don't you?" She asked, with a big grin on her face.
"Yes-wait-no! I mean....How did you know?"
"Lucky guess. Plus I have a stack of reports with me as well, so a bit of deduction from my end." Celestia chuckled, leaning in her chair, letting a few minutes pass by as the two stared each other in silence. Sunset was the first to speak as she asked, "How much do you know?"
"Oh you tell me. Do I start at the Mega Sunday Parties? Or the Micro Shrinking Detentions?"
"Okay, Okay, I know, I know, but...." Sunset stood quiet, before taking a deep breath. "Are you mad?"
"Yes," Celestia said, as she was not expecting such answer but let her teaching instincts kick in. "For many reasons, one, you abusing your powers, and two because you were being irresponsible with them." Sunset gulped, feeling a sense of deja vu. "Plus for another specific reason," She stood up as she walked over to the girl, making her look frail in comparison due to Celestia's natural oversize in height. She gulped as she saw the principal walk forward and looked down on her, making her feel tiny, ironic given no magic was around.
"You didn't teach me." Was all she heard.
The words went through her ears as Sunset blinked, then once again. "What?!"
"You."
"Didn't."
"Teach."
"Me, how to do it." Was Celestia's answer as she let it once again fall on her ears.
Sunset let it process once more as it was now her turn to stand up, still falling short by many heads to Celestia as all she could she was her stomach area. "Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, let me get this straight." She paced around as she rationalized it. "You want me to teach you how to use magic, to....change size?"
"Definitely," Celestia said as she crossed her arms. "Or would you rather serve hefty time in detention or better yet the courthouse?" Even though the situation was bizarre, there had to be a reason why a lot of the authorities hadn't been alarmed as of late.
"So what's it going to be?" Celestia asked.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
