“Okay, fine you have one chance to explain why you are here. And where my friend is?” Melissa said, crossing her arms and ready to hear. Barbie wore a smile, seeing she was about to get this chance. What can she really do though?
Well you will not like it, but it is the smartest thing. She just hopes you don’t end up holding this against her.
“Okay, come on out.” She said simply, waiting for a while to see that you were not. “Come on out, the gig is up.”
Melissa was looking impatient as Barbie suddenly panicked. “Uh... please! You are making me look like a crazy person? Hehe” She said with a nervous smile. Once she saw that you were not coming out again, she turned to Melissa. “Uh... one moment please.”
From Melissa’s point of view, she saw Barbie get onto her knees. Getting onto her knees and start crawling around. Going behind the couch as she started talking “Come on, sorry i thought it would go better. It will be fine stop being a baby. I could grow you... but it will be fine this height. You can’t run away, come here.”
Suddenly Barbie stood back up, holding something behind her back. “I’m back, and this... will explain everything!”
She then swung her arm around and held out her hand. Wearing a smile as Melissa looked down to you.
You sat there defeated on Barbie’s palm. Seeing the sight of your giant friend. Thankfully she didn’t seem to grasp what you were exactly.
“A doll? You are crazy.” Melissa said, as at this point you are not really sure you would argue.
“No it’s (Your Name)!” Barbie said moving around the couch and closer. “I shrunk him!?”
She came ahead and held you ahead, right at chest level to Melissa. You saw the uncaring eyes down onto you, however as she looked closer you can see the change that was happening. She changed amazed and shocked, not believing it at all.
“Is that...”
“Hey Melissa.” You say to her, looking down and a bit ashamed “Yeah it’s me. Real, and small. This is-”
“Barbie!!” Barbie blurted out “Nice to meet, you for real this time.” She said wearing a smile. Melissa didn’t really pay much attention to her as her eyes were on you.
And soon as well, her fingers were on you as well. She brought her grasp down and grabbed you. Lifting you up as she held between her fingers. You get pulled up to your friend’s beautiful face as she was left speechless.
Speechless until she uttered words that was completely reasonable at this point “What the hell is going on!”
“Oh i can explain.” Barbie said from behind, sitting on the couch and patting the seat next to her. Melissa follows and sits down as Barbie explains.
“Well, (Your Name) Bought me online for his sister’s birthday, but then surprise! I came to life! And well... shrunk him. We were gonna have some real fun at our tiny house but then you came in! Wanting to meet you i grew to a normal size and talked to you while he hid around. I... guess I gave off a bad first impression, and for you not to call the cops i had two options. Shrink you too, or show you (Your Name). Since i don’t want to shrink you cause i really want you to like me, so instead here we are!” Barbie said with excitement and giddiness.
Melissa just held you there, shocked and amazed. She did not expect this to happen when she came to your house this morning. So you have been listening the entire time.
“I need a drink.” Melissa said, getting up and placing you on Barbie’s lap. She placed you right there as she moved over. She went into the kitchen as Barbie smiled.
“Well, i think that went well.” She said happily as you had to disagree. Melissa looks like she was having a panic attack. She was not taking this well.
“Maybe... Melissa should leave.” You said down below as of course Barbie was against it.
“What! But she just got here, and she hasn’t even had any fun yet. All we have done is freak her out a bit.” She said as you had to quickly argue.
“Why can’t we just have fun the two of us” You question as she laughs.
“Cause that would be no fun! You’re just scared cause you don’t want to get played by your EX.” She said with a smirk.
“No it’s not th... Well okay maybe a part of it because of that.”
“Don’t worry about it. She will be nice, oh i’m so excited. She is gonna be my best friend, i can just tell!” Barbie said, jumping and moving her knees. “We can do all types of things? We can do each other’s hair, paint each other’s nails. Gossip, talk about boys. Make prank phone alls. Have pillow fights! I’m so excited!”
“Barbie, i know Melissa and she will not like to do any of that.” You say to her as you suddenly get up. “Well you two have fun, i’m gonna go hide again.”
“Oh no you don’t!” Barbie said, moving her hand and blocking you. She blocked you from leaving and wore a smile above you. “You are my connection to Melissa. She will probably leave if you aren’t here! Just stay for a while until we become the bestest of best friends! Okay?”
“I don’t like this.” You say back as she simply just giggled. Suddenly you hear footsteps and turn to see Melissa coming back. Now calmed down and at least believing what she was seeing.
“Hey Melissa! So... wanna have fun with us?” Barbie said as she wanted the answer to be yes. More than anything she has ever hoped for.
Melissa looked at Barbie, and then looked down at you on the lap. You were so little, so small.
