"Eenie, meenie, miney... you!" Midna says as she finally chooses a world and heads in, completely unknowing of where she is heading. She enters the world and ghosts herself so she can look around. From what she can see though, this Hyrule looks rather... plain, with very little to make it unique from other worlds.
"Whatever. I'm not here to sightsee, I'm here to screw with Link and that's what I'm gonna do. Now I just need to sense out that hero's spirit every Link has aaaanndd... gotcha." She takes off in the direction she sensed Link was in.
She soon came upon a cuckoo farm. "Rather plain for a hero." Midna muses to herself before remembering that her own Link started out as a simple goat herder. "Now where are you Link?"
She flies inside right to where she senses the hero's spirit. Only instead of the standard elf-eared mute boy she was expecting, it was a girl. She looked about the age of the average Link, and even looked a lot like him, but it couldn't be, could it? She takes a quick look into what this world is to see what's happening.
Apparently, in this world, rather than Link, the hero destined to defeat evil was instead a girl named Linkle. Well this certainly put a damper on Midna's plans, but not enough to stop her. Male or female, a Link was a Link, and this "Linkle" was a Link alright. She would certainly have fun with her.
But first, she needed more intel on this world. For starters, was everyone in this world a gender-bent version of their traditional counterparts, or was Link/Linkle the only one to get that treatment?
