This choice: Knows, and she dislikes him • Go Back... "You've got to see this!," Holly said excited as she entered the room first.
"What is it?" the other girl in the hallway said.
"Just hurry up! You've got to see this!," the blonde in the doorway replied.
Alex swallowed, it had been worse with one giant girl. Now he'd be at the mercy of another girl.
"Melanie, meet Alex! My babysitter!," Holly smiled and gestured towards the shrunken teen as her friend entered the room.
The girl was about Holly's height, maybe an inch or two taller. Had long brown reddish hair, with a slight curl in it. She was wearing a bright purple dress with a star print.
Both the new girl and the shrunken teen looked at each other.
"You!" Melanie frowned at the sight of Alex.
In return the shrunken teen swallowed hard. This was a nightmare.
The name didn't ring a bell, but he recognized Melanie's face right away.
She was his first babysit. It didn't go so well, for both parties. He didn't get payed for that one, though in hindsight he might have payed to skip that first time all together.
Melanie had been a menace, but in the end he managed to take control of the situation. Too late as her parents came back early. The house was a mess, Melanie cried and although Alex assumed he got the short end of the straw, the girl probably got punished as well. The laser eyes she was giving him were telling.
"I'll kill you!" the brunette dashed forward and reached for the teenager.
Alex was quick on his feet and threw the pillow at her, which hit her in the face.
He had no way to go. He saw only one option. He made his way over to Holly and hid behind her.
"Please Holly! Don't let her hurt me!" Alex said.
"Huh? What's going on here?" the young blonde was confused.
"Come here! You little!" Melanie, eyes with fury, didn't seem to question Alex's new height. She was focused on one thing only, hurting the shrunken teen.
"Mel! Stop it!" Holly yelled.
Melanie looked at her friend.
"Why do you want to hurt my babysitter?" the seven year old pulled Alex close, her arms around him. Only then did the teen realize he had lost the pillow.
While Alex struggled to use a free hand to cover himself, Melanie explained what happened, still taking quick glances at the shrunken teen. Apparently her parents hadn't taken the whole affair lightly. The seven year old had been grounded for months.
"You're right that was pretty mean," Holly said. She was still holding Alex.
"Now give him to me!" Melanie was still ready to kick his ass.
