It was a long and tough battle to the death but with one final strike to the neck, the mighty dragon collapsed and lay defeated on the cold stone floor. You were the victor and was the only man throughout the land to have done so. When you dropped your sword, the room in the ruins fell silent for the first time since you entered and the was sun rising over the mountains. A glorious sight indeed. You were not done with your quest yet, however. As soon as you had rested a bit the , you decided to locate the tallest tower. If the rumors surrounding the dragon were correct then word of a beautiful Princess may have been true also.
It did not take long to find the stairs and begin your climb. They were large steps and many of them too so you needed to take a break every now and then to prevent dying of exhaustion. As you rose near the top of the tower, you caught your breath on something quite foul, unpleasant like something was rotting or died so you hoped you were not too late to save the princess. With your mouth and nose covered with your hand, you finally reached the top and slowly opened the door. The sight of a well-decorated and clean room was ruined by the odor of what could be described as lingering sweat and feet. Instead of finding a body, you found the room empty. Perhaps the princess was already rescued or she managed to escape. You looked about for a few seconds, defeated before almost closing the door.
"Brave Knight?"
You were startled by a soft feminine voice that originated from behind a curtain. Still with your hand firm over your mouth, you opened the door more and could see the face of a beautiful slender woman who entered the room from a hidden second room of some sort. She was in a green, patterned dress and had red hair tied in a bun. She sat on the bed and was watching you, a little confused.
"I just had a bath so I apologize for not being present, so tell me brave Knight, since you are here, you must have defeated the dragon, am I right?"
"I have indeed your highness, take a look" You gesture to the window. As she lept from the bed and perched to the window ledge behind her, you saw the room and realized something, If her room was clean and she just had a bath then why does the room still smell so bad.
"Sir Knight this is wonderful I can finally be freed from this prison...may I see your face? I wish to reward you with a kiss" She raced toward you so she was almost directly in the kissing distance. "Please please please!"
You had uncovered your face for a second but only to catch the putrid smell of her bad breath as she talked. It was if she hadn't cleaned her teeth in weeks or months even but her teeth looked so...perfect. You covered right away which only angered the princess.
