Ace cursed in his head. The small nearly inaudible cries of the human were just loud enough for someone in the dining staff to hear. He knew he could use his special ability to avoid being seen. But it meant either leaving the human or having the tiny being within him.
Not given much time to think, Ace brought the tiny human up to his jaws and threw him inside. He didn't give the human a chance to respond either and instead swallowed hard. He felt the thrashing of the boy he swallowed and waited. After a moment, the human was within Ace's stomach.
With the human tucked inside, Ace activated his ability and became ethereal (ghost-like). Once active, Ace phased into a wall an waited. He wasn't sure what was going on, once active, being ethereal meant he couldn't see, hear, smell, feel, taste or even breathe. All his senses turned off when he was ethereal.
He had been counting in his head, trying to at least maintain a gauge on time. After what he presumed was five minutes, he deactivated his ability and was forced out of the wall. He let out a low sigh seeing no one was around.
As fast and as quiet as he could, Ace made his way out of the castle, still carrying the human within him.
