A week later, Chi-chi is even slobbier.

Things on Mount Paozu changed rapidly after that as Chi-chi spent her days eating and lazing around her house, which she no longer bothered to clean. Goku was forced to quickly master domestic work in order to keep living conditions preferable for his children and herself. He'd even learned to cook in order to better satisfy his spouse's new Appetite. In a surprising turn of events, he proved better at all of this that Chichi ever had been.
The Saiyan hero had once thought that witnessing such events would make his wife angry, though it didn't. Nothing seemed to anger, or even excite Chi-chi anymore. She seemed to be in a state of total apathy which only mildly subsided in the presence of food or something funny on television. Goku couldn't help but be amused at his once uptight wife's new love of fart jokes and other Scatological humor. One of the few bright spots during the first few strange days was the way Chi-chi would use such jokes to make Goten laugh as they played. This quickly faded however as Chi-chi lost all interest in doing anything with her youngest.
Goku currently eyed her in her chair, fat at well over 250 pounds and still dressed in the same clothes she had worn all week. They were now beyond rumpled and coated with all manner of crumbs and sauces, left-overs from previous feasts that only made the clothes smell even more sour. This combined with his spouse's own rather pungent body odor made the Saiyan warrior more than a little hesitant to approach his wife.
"Chi-chi, come on, we're due to meet Bulma and her family at the new West City Buffet in an hour." Goku tried not to let his impatience show in his voice. Having to assume his wife's former role had forced him to forego any and all training for the entire week. While this was certainly not an overly long time and he'd suffered no noticeable decrease in either strength or skill because of it, the normally cheerful Saiyan found himself becoming uncharacteristically irritable and was honestly struggling not to lose his temper these days. After all, who could he blame but himself?
Chi-chi let herself be given a long overdue bathing and be dressed in fresh clothes that better fit her larger frame. Goku then picked her up and used Instant Transmission to take them both to West City. He was eager to talk to Bulma about what had occurred and hoped his oldest friend might be able to revert his spouse back to her old self. With the Dragonballs currently unable to grant another wish, it was his only hope.
