This choice: Celica is attacked on the way • Go Back... "Saber!" Celica shouted as she was suddenly dragged away. Saber was just as caught off guard as Celica had been, and looked back far too late to help his "boss" out.
It wasn't just one pirate who had taken Celica, it was a group of five men, all big, all strong. They had disarmed the redhead, and were carrying her haphazardly across the ship. Celica's limbs were all restrained by someone's big hands, she could hardly get any give at all from these pirates. They pulled on her clothes, seemingly attempting to pull them off, but their clumsy and uncoordinated claws proved in making that a difficult task for them. Nevertheless, Celica began to cry from the violating fingers running all over her helpless form. She couldn't even scream anymore, as one of the men had covered her mouth with his disgusting hand.
"Celica!" Saber yelled, he charged the mass of pirates without any regard to his plan of rescuing Celica. All he knew was that she was in distress and he needed to save her before things got worse. Luckily for him, the pirates had their hands full, literally, and he was able to cut down one of them without any resistance.
"Got you!" Saber exclaimed as his opponent fell. Celica was still held tightly by the others though. Saber made his next move to strike again, but before he could, he felt someone coming up from behind him. He spun around just in time to avoid an axe to his back. Another pirate had joined to scuffle. Saber growled through gritted teeth at the pirate, and readied another sword attack.
"Stop it or else!" One of the pirates who had grabbed Celica suddenly shouted.
"Damn it!" Saber cursed. He knew he was outmatched now. These idiot pirates had gotten him cornered near the edge of the ship. They also had Celica, and so long as they did, he didn't want to risk doing anything that might cause them to bring harm to her. Celica looked at him with pleading eyes. Saber glared at the pirates, but in the end lowered his sword.
"Good, boy.." A pirate holding Celica taunted.
The pirate motioned for the pirate who had attacked Saber to come to him, he did. They'd ended up near an assortment of large leather bags. Each one was big enough that a person, more specifically a young woman, could fit inside. Celica looked down and saw the bags, and then up to see the pirates, who each looked like they had the same ideas in mind. She renewed her struggles and muffled screaming, but still could not break free.
"Put her in one of these bags!" A pirate ordered. A call of "ayes" from others confirmed they were indeed thinking the same thing.
With them back up to five members, the band of pirates wasted no time in shoving the struggling young woman into one of the big bags. She fought them every step of the way, but there were so many of them and they were all physically stronger than her. While they were putting their catch into the confines of the bag, one of the pirates kept watch on Saber with an axe drawn to keep him from getting any ideas about helping the girl.
When they successfully had Celica in the bag, they wasted no time in tying up the hole of the bag on top with some thick ropes that had also been lying around, effectively sealing poor Celica inside it. She screamed muffled screams, and began trying to pound her way out of the claustrophobic little bag. It was no use though, the area inside was too tight for her to build up enough force to bust her way out of there. That didn't stop Celica from trying though.
"What do you want?" Saber asked, already well-aware of what they would demand. He just wanted to buy some time to think about how fast he could kill each of these pirates.
"Surrender, now! Or girlie gets it!" One of the pirates shouted.
"Yer the leader, right? Order your units to stand down!" Another pirate essentially repeated the command. Saber scoffed at him. Apparently these idiots didn't know that the girl he'd just tied up was the leader of their little merry band, and weren't smart enough to figure that out.
"Whatever. But she's one of my units, too, you fool." Saber stated, annoyed by how wrong this was turning out. "I want you to guarantee her safety. And by that, I mean I want you to hand her back to me."
"No can do, bucko! She's what ya call a bargaining chip, we'll keep her until all your friends are good and locked up in the cabin of this here ship." One of the pirates told him.
"Tch." Saber was surprised that these guys were smart enough to not fall for his play. He wasn't going to outsmart them with simple tricks like that, but he wasn't able to outmatch them with force, either.
"Hey, she's still kicking real hard over here!" One of the pirates, who had been holding the bag containing Celica up the whole time, complained.
"Aye, yer right." Another said, seeming to agree even though he wasn't near the bag anymore.
"How's about we use THAT thing?" Pirate number three offered. Saber's glare narrowed on him at hearing this, he could only wonder what that pirate meant by that.
"Good idea, mate! This is just the occasion!" A pirate merrily agreed.
"Oy! Here it is!" Yet another pirate chimed in. This one held up a bottle containing an dark blue liquid, and it had a skull and crossbones crudely drawn onto it's side.
"Wait! Don't!" Saber quickly yelled, thinking the symbol on the bottle signified poison.
"Cool your heels, landlubber! It's not poison, if that's what yer thinking!" The pirate explained.
"Aye. This be a simple potion we gots from a weird purple-looking lad." Another added.
"Yep, this is pure grade shrinking potion!" One more pirate stated.
"What!?" Saber shouted, not believing their words. Could such a potion truly exist? Magic, alchemy and all that crap were not exactly his area of expertise, so he just had to go on what these pirates were telling him. He wondered if Celica had heard the bad news, maybe it was better if she hadn't though, so many bad things had happened to her already.
"It's true, boy. Works on living and material things, too. Watch this." The pirate said. He then took the bottle of shrinking potion and uncorked it with his teeth, and then poured its contents all over the bag. The dark blue liquid seeped into the bag with enough of it in the small bottle to cover the whole thing.
"Damn!" Saber again cursed. He had to force himself to stay his hand at this point. He wanted to make all of these low down and dirty pirates pay, but could not. He felt it was his fault for not acting sooner, and now Celica was again paying the price for his foolishness. As if it wasn't bad enough that she had been captured and tossed into a bag, now these rogues were planning to shrink her down to size too? Saber could not imagine the situation getting much worse.
Almost immediately, the potions effects kicked in, and the bag started to decrease in size. Steadily it diminished before the eyes of the onlookers. Saber watched it dwindle with a defeated look, he knew Celica was inside it and shrinking right along with the bag to further smallness. The pirates watched with joy as their new potion had worked like a charm and they no longer had to put up with the girl's full-sized struggles. As the bag, and by extension, Celica, shrank smaller and smaller, the pirates could take pleasure in the fact that she would not only be much easier to carry, but also make for a great little girl-pet or toy, if they felt like it.
A minute passed as Celica and her leather prison shrank down, until finally they were so small that it looked like a small satchel that one might put the tiniest of objects inside, not unlike the one that Saber held his knife in on his belt. The shrinking seemed to have stopped, and Saber wagered a guess that poor Celica had shrunk down to about the size of a girl's doll. He could not see her through the thick leather that made up the bag, nor could he hear her tinier muffled cries, but he was sure that inside that bag there was a tiny young woman just waiting to be saved.
One of the pirates swooped down and snatched up the reduced bag, swinging it side-to-side between his fingers. He and his mates laughed at the cries this little motion elicited from the tiny redhead inside. Her now tiny arms and legs pressed at the sides of the bag, as she had not given up trying to fight her way out the tight space, but she was even weaker now and if she escaped she would not like the change that had been done to her against her will.
"Damn it, she doesn't even know what you've done to her!" Saber shouted, raising his fist to the pirates.
"Oh boo hoo! She's our little plaything now, and there ain't nothin' you can do about it!" One of the pirates taunted him.
"Thas right! We'll take her as 'insurance' while you go around and tell your soldiers to lower their arms!" Another barked orders.
"And don't think we don't have anymore shrinking potion, neither! 'Cuz we do!" The pirate holding the bag with the tiny Celica inside
"Ngh..." Saber grunted. He looked down, not out of shame or anything like that, but to focus on devising a plan to kill these idiot pirates and save Celica. He'd missed his opportunity to save her before she got shrunk, but he sure as hell wasn't going to waste anymore chances... indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
