(IDK what a "messed-up wrist" is but it sounds serious)
Nerissa tried to skateboard, but fell off and scraped her knee.
She did say, "Ouch", but she didn't cry, which greatly impressed Albert because he was still going through the phase where he cried if he got a paper-cut.
Then, she washed the wound and put a bandage on it.
