Suddenly, Ash heard a loud clunk, followed by something heavy being shuffled across a floor. He knew what this sound was and, for a moment, his heart felt like it had stopped. Time seemed to freeze in place.
The front door to the Gym was opening!
Ash slowly turned around to see not one, not two, but three women entering.
Misty's sisters; Daisy, Violet, and Lily were all entering the gym. They seemed engrossed in their own conversations, laughing as they entered the gym.
"Seel! Seel!" Misty called out. All three girls immediately turned to look at their younger sister who was bolting back and forth, clapping her hands and yelling 'seel' repeatedly. They exchanged worried glances then turned to Ash.
"Uh... hey Ash!" Daisy said, bewildered. "What's with Misty?"
"She's acting..." Violet began.
"...Like a Seel. She's acting like a Seel" Lily finished.
"Yeah... see the thing is I just showed her something and all of a sudden, poof. She started running around like this." he said. The girls slowly began moving towards the center of the Gym while Misty continued her jog around the place.
"What did you show her?" Violet asked in pure confusion. She had no idea what could make a person do something so absurd.
Ash took this as his chance and pulled out the Hypno's pendant, dangling it before the girls.
"I showed her this!"
All three girls looked at it in amazement. They began to slowly shuffle closer and closer to Ash until they were all gathered around him. Their faces side-by-side in front of the pendant. After mere moments their eyes drifted closed and their bodies went slack.
"Seel!" Misty cried out from the other side of the gym. Ash looked back at her, then back to her sisters.
