Ash wondered what to do with Misty, then smiled when he had an idea.

"Okay Misty, as soon as I whistle, you'll wake up. When you do, you'll have no memories at all, and that the only thing you'll remember is your own name and mine, and that you'll trust me completely to tell you who you are and what you do, no matter what it is that I say. You'll also have no memory of me showing you the pendant. Is that understood?" Ash said, as he placed the pendant in his pocket.

Misty nodded her head at this, as she stared ahead with a blank look.

Ash then gave a whistle, which caused Misty to blink her eyes a few times.

"Oh, hey Ash" Misty said, as she smiled at him. "Welcome to....er" she said in confusion, as she looked around.

"Don't you remember where we are?" Ash asked her, thinking the pendant had worked.

Misty shook her head at this. "No, I don't recognise this place. Have I lost all my memories?" she asked in worry.

Ash smiled at this, as he rubbed his hands together. "Don't worry Misty, I can help you" he said.

Misty looked relieved at this, as she grinned at him. "Thanks Ash. I know that I can trust you" she said.

Ash then looked at her, and said....
