As you say there nervously, you looked back to Kicks. At first you were simply expecting him to measure your foot and go to the back and pull out a pair of boots like his. Instead, you saw Kicks pull another chair right in front of you and sit right down by you. Before you could ask was he was doing your eyes went wide. The skunk reached down and started tugging on his own boots grunting a couple of times before finally getting them to budge. A faint odor started to seep our as he managed to pull it down a crack. The faint smell stung your nostrils, and yet you found it almost euphoric. You turned away slightly hoping to hide the bit of red forming on your face as you forced yourself to think of anything else to get your mind back to normal. Baseball, fishing, cars, goldfish. Anything at all to take your mind off of Kicks and what he was in the middle of.
You managed to regain your composure fairly quick but as you looked back you blushed slightly once more. Kicks has finally removed the stubborn boot. Of course wearing boots like that every day was bound to build up a lot of heat and sweat and the sudden rush of fresh air certainly felt good for kicks. Your eyes wandered down as he wiggles his toes, enjoying the newfound freedom. The odor, now much stronger hit you like a truck. It took everything in your power to try to keep a straight face. But even with that your expression occasionally broke from your barely composed form just briefly. You prayed that he didn’t notice.
Of course Kicks wasn’t oblivious. After he finished basking in the refreshing freedom he noticed the weird faces you were making. At first he was worried that something was wrong, but as he watched your eyes he quickly pieces together the truth. With a small grin, Kicks decided to have a little fun with this.
