Daniel bolted out of his bedroom, narrowly avoiding his sister Kourtney coming out of their shared bathroom.
"Sorry!" He slid down the staircase and sprinted into the living room. However, he didn't know his stepdad, Kevin, was trying to get out to fetch himself another can of beer. BANG! Daniel ran smack bang into him, now looking partially dazed and disoriented.
His stepfather just snarled and hoisted him up with his vice-like grip. "Where are you running to, you little runt?" Mike tried to loosen Kevin's bear like paws but it was an unwinnable contest. "Can't...BREATHE.." you choked. Danny's stepdad sneered at you then clumsily dropped you on the floor. "Oops!" As he turned away and began to laugh, Danny started seething with anger- he and his stepdad had never really been on friendly terms before (as Kevin was an unapologetically disgusting bully) but this incident tipped him over the edge. He wanted revenge soon, somehow. He sinisterly smiled as he thought about his new powers.
