Sam hadn't eaten anything since he left for Standford so he didn't see any harm in staying and grabbing a bite to eat. plus he still hadn't made any friends here at Stanford so he thought that this would be a great opportunity to make some new friends. "Sure, I'm starving," Sam said. They guys head over to Commons where they were swiped into the cafeteria, the last time Sam was here was during orientation and he was excited to try the food here, he heard that the food was great. The five of them grabbed some plates as they loaded it up with food, Sam went for a simple sandwich and a salad though it was the total upset of his new acquaintances who had loaded up on burgers and fries.
"That's all you're eating Sam," Hector asked
Sam shrugged, "yeah I don't eat much," Sam said.
"Well that will change," Lance said as he began to dig into his food.
As they ate they began to chat, mostly about what majors they were in, Hector was majoring in chemistry, Lance was into nutritional science, Jim was majoring in computer science, and Peter was majoring in philosophy. As the five of them were chatting...
