Before your incredulous eyes, the giant Mew adopted a deep shade of red, which spread across her cheeks as she looked away.
In response to your pleading gaze, she only mumbled something incomprehensible.
"W-What...?" you asked, though something in your mind told you that you really didn't want to know, like a feeling that whatever the Mew just said was nothing but bad news for you.
The pink giantess closed her eyes and sighed deeply, her tail waving back and forth in a nervous fashion.
"I said..." she paused to inhale once more,
"I have no idea how to grow you back."
For several minutes, a deafening silence fell all over the place like mist.
Your heart had frozen. Your blood had frozen. Your brain and mouth had frozen.
What did that mean?
It seemed a simple concept, but you couldn't wrap your mind around it, no, you didn't want to accept it!
"What does that mean?" you asked, starting to lose the cool you kept so far,
"Why can't you grow me back?"
Mew seemed to feel your sudden change of tone, which made her cringe.
For several moments, she didn't reply.
But then, she slowly turned her head to face you.
"I mean... I simply don't know. I only know how to shrink things... or you humans, if you prefer." she explained,
"Haven't quite figured the growing part out yet..."
Each sentence felt like a knife stabbing you directly in the heart.
Mew was basically saying that you were doomed to live as a shrunken human, a doll in the paws of this crazy legendary who just ruined your life!
"But," you insisted,
"There ought to be a way to grow me back... there must be, no? If you were able to shrink me, there has to be something that can grow me back to my height!"
That was it, you thought. A move, an ability, anything was acceptable if it meant that you could have your size back!
You looked at Mew intently, waiting for any kind of answer.
But all the pink legendary did was offer a shrug and sorrowful look.
"If there is a way to grow you back, I do not know." she bluntly stated,
"I'm sorry."
You stared at the giantess in silence for several seconds. The words she spoke, you knew, represented your sentence.
A life in this miserable size, in constant danger, lost in the middle of a forest, stuck with the unpredictable legendary.
Your legs stiffened as you laid there before the towering Mew, desperation taking over your mind and the need to cry growing stronger.
You fought back tears.
You may have lost your size and your life, but you still had your dignity... you weren't sure how that was going to last, given how you were naked and on the verge of tears.
You felt your body unable to move, and you didn't care.
Beside you, the pink pokemon that did this to you adopted a dejected look.
"I'm sorry, but-" she started, reaching out for you with a short paw.
You saw it coming your way.
A newfound adrenaline spread through your body like an electric shock, and you moved out of the way, leading the Mew to shoot you a perplexed stare.
Your desperation quickly waned from your mind, replaced by rage.
"You!" you shouted,
"You did this to me! You knew you couldn't grow me back, but you did it regardless! Just what did I do to you to deserve all of this!?"
A feeble voice in your mind reasonably told you to calm down, because an outburst was probably going to end with the Mew crushing your body into dust with the mere blink of an eye; however, you shut the voice up, telling yourself that living like this wasn't worth it.
Might as well take out all your repressed rage, you thought.
As for Mew, she looked taken aback.
Some legendaries had the power to feel others' emotions. The pink legendary wasn't among them, but could however feel an incredible amount of rage coming from you, and it was enough to scare her.
If this human didn't calm down, she'd have to use drastic measures and get him to calm down, whether he wanted or not.
"... You did nothing to me," she calmly began.
Her calm only made you feel more angry, why the hell did she seem to not care about your predicament.
"Then why the hell did you this to me!? I was just wandering around, did I, I don't know, step in your turf or something?" you exclaimed,
"You literally ruined my life! What am I going to do now!?"
Mew frowned, feeling guilty.
She meant you no actual harm, but your words were true.
If she couldn't grow you back, then an innocent's life was ruined for no reason.
"Please, just calm down," she muttered,
"We can talk this over..."
By this point, you felt like you were about to catch fire, your anger threatening to blow your head up at any time.
"Calm down!? Calm down!? You just ruined my life and all you can say is-" you were interrupted as the pink giantess suddenly
placed a paw on your forehead, with enough strength to send you stumbling back and fall down on the stone floor.
Before you had any time to react, the paw on your forehead sent a pink glow spreading through your body.
You tried to protest, but you felt your anger waning all of a sudden as Mew performed Heal Pulse.
After a few seconds, the legendary pulled back, staring down at you with a tired expression.
"There. This should make you more reasonable." she said as she sat back down, letting out a long sigh.
You blinked, all your rage disappeared from your mind as you sat up.
"So this is it..." you muttered dejectedly, reverting back to desperation,
"There is... there is really no way for me to grow back...?"
Mew seemed deep in thought.
Once again, silence fell all over the cave, and remained unbroken for a good while, in which nothing was said or done from both you or Mew.
Ultimately though, the legendary looked back at you and finally broke the silence,
