Beth was just about to call for help when a loud creaking noise came from the other end of the Barn. She saw the door swing open, and, much to her surprise, a young guy around her age walked in. She had to stop for a second and pick her jaw up off the floor, because he was gorgeous. About six foot, with sandy blonde hair and chiselled good looks. He also happened to have his shirt off, and was currently walking in carrying a bale of hay under one large bicep. His chest was equally impressive, rock hard abs and toned muscles.
Sweet Jesus. Beth gawked at the guy as he approached her with a smile, dumping the hay on the floor before he walked up to greet her.
"Hey, are you lost?" He asked.
Beth had to compose herself for a moment before she replied. Oh, he was exactly her type. "Yeah...kind of...I didn't realise anybody still lived here."
"Well, I just look after the animals," the guy said with a smile. "I'm Kyle."
Beth was trying very hard not to just stare at his abs. "I'm Beth," she said. "I was looking for my friend, Stacey. She went missing around here earlier this week and we haven't heard from her since."
"Oh," Kyle said, looking very concerned. "Well, I haven't seen anyone but you in weeks."
Almost instantly forgetting she had questions about Stacey, Beth switched topics. "Oh really? You live here on your own? No family or...girlfriend?"
"Nope, just me," Kyle shrugged. "It's nice to have visitors. Sorry, if I'd known you were coming I'd have worn a shirt."
Beth giggled. "Oh, don't worry about that..." she eyed him up very obviously, making her feelings on his exposed chest pretty clear. "So you...look after the animals?"
"Yeah, just me, they're like my family really," Kyle said, gesturing to the animals to either side of them.
Beth laughed. "Well they certainly don't look much like you. There's definitely no fat pig in that chest," she said, prodding his abs with a finger.
Kyle looked strangely offended by that comment, though Beth wasn't sure why...
