Chapter #4Oh, its a Wolf. Wait, a Wolf! by: Goodvibes Standing in front of Emma was a strange sight. What appeared to be a dog of some sort was looking at her. While Emma thought of a dog,in actually she didn’t know what it was. It was too big to be a Pit bull, not hairy enough to be a Malamute, and it’s snout was too long to be a Dalmatian.
“Wait, thought Emma, that can’t be here!?!"
Shining the light directly at the beast, Emma realized what it was. A Wolf, a huge Wolf, which for some reason had green fur and it was staring right at her!
“Just back away slowly, Emma hurriedly thought, if you don’t startle it, it will probably leave you alone” Emma quietly moved backwards from the door and tried to close it.
A growl broke her train of thought and quickly Emma looked into the doorway. The Wolf was baring its teeth at her; clearly it was getting agitated by something. Emma couldn’t keep herself calm and tried to quickly slam the door.
Too late! The Wolf vaulted towards the closing door and tried to bite her! Emma yelped and panicked. Dropping right onto her behind and causing to the door to open wider!
Emma went wide eyed and scrambled to close the door. Unfortunately, the Wolf was faster, by the time the door was halfway shut, its head was already in the space! Emma screamed loudly and tried to push the head back into the other room. Her right arm on the door and the left pushing the Wolf back into the room.
CRUNCH
Emma screamed, her left arm was bitten! Tears soaked her eyes, as the pain of the bite flowed upwards. The Wolf however seemed to be calming down and Emma felt it struggling less. The Wolf’s head slowly sunk behind the gap and Emma quickly closed the door. Tears still soaking her eye, Emma wiped them away with her uninjured arm. Slowly getting up, Emma found the closest chair and wedged it at an angle.
Emma put her head into her hands and breath slowly. She quickly thought over the event that just transpired. One thing however clouded her mind.
“Did that Wolf smile after it bit me” Emma said to no in particular. She pushed the thought aside, thinking it was just a adrenaline induced hallucination. With that out of the way, Emma quickly looked for something to bandage her wound.
Looking down at her left arm, she gasped! The wound was completely healed and the sign it ever occurred were some specks of blood on her shirt.
“What”! Screamed Emma. she grabbed her arm and started to press down on it. “I knew I was bitten by the Wolf, Emma began to think, I should be bleeding right now”!
Emma glanced at her arm, as though looking at it could bring back the wound. Emma’s face was painted with confusion; something strange had happened and she had been a victim of it! Emma quickly shook her head and went forward, the others were still exploring. The quicker she could leave, the quicker she could look for medical attention.
