The excuse Evan gave for steeping away from his workstation that afternoon was that needed to talk with Nancy in the office about his paycheck. "For some reason, the bank put a hold on my check," Evan explained. "I need to go speak with Nancy in the office about how to get my money since rent is due soon. You'll be alright on your own for a bit?"
"Y-yeah!" Theo said, trying to hide his excitement.
Evan did not go to the office. Instead, he slipped behind a large tool chest in the back area of their workspace, the back area were no camera in the shop monitored and where no other employees could see.
The lion peaked from behind the tool chest and watched Theo pretend to work for a minute or two, adjusting knobs on a compressor that was far from finished. The husky got up suddenly and briskly walked to the back space. Evan hid behind the chest until Theo passed. Peaking back around the chest, he watched the husky reach far back into one of the cabinets. From it, he pulled out an air compressor much like the ones the two built for a living. As far as Evan would tell, the only noteworthy difference was that the nozzle was situation at the top of the machine rather than the side.
Theo pulled the compressor into the electrical socket and the machine hummed to life. A powerful, constant blast of air shot from the machine. The husky was thrilled, his fluffy tail slapping back and forth. Evan saw Theo step over the machine. Reaching a paw back, the husky widened the stretchy tail hole in his jumpsuit and carefully lowered himself over the machine.
Evan didn't hear the air stream's hissing anymore.
Theo moaned as a dopey, pleased looked spread across his face. A paw unzipped his blue jumpsuits down to his hips and began lazily rubbing the slowly swelling globe of his stomach.
Evan witnessed Theo's tummy inch outward with air. He could hear the creaks and groans as the dog's stomach continued to expand outward more and more. It only took a few minutes for his stomach to blow up into a huge sphere. The inflated pup looked as if he had just suddenly devoured a week's worth of groceries in a matter of seconds.
Theo lifted himself up from his squatting position over the machine. He practically waddled over to the outlet and unplugged the machine. The light hummed died instantly, and Theo shoved the machine back into the cabinet it came from.
Theo stood up and tugged the zipper of his jumpsuit up. This time, it just made it up a few inches past his bellybutton.
"So that's what you been doing," Evan said as he stepped out from behind the tool chest.
Theo spun around. A bit of gas escaped his rear due to the shock. "E-evan?! I thought you went to the office!" The husky nervous yanked the zipper of his jumpsuit up. It wasn't going any higher.
"Nope. I wanted to see what you have been doing when I've been away, and...uh..." he trailed off as he gazed at Theo's pumped up tummy.
The dog blushed. "Please, don't tell anyone, especially the boss! I can explain!"
"So, explain."
"Not here! Are you free after work today? I'll tell you everything, just not here, alright?"
