Catfolk are a fairly common race of monsters

"Catfolk are a fairly common type of monster," Felicia said. "In fact, name a cat, and you'll find a catfolk version of it."

"Lion?"

"Yep."

"Tiger?"

"Yep."

"Cheetah?"

"Always cheating."

"Leopard?"

"Spotted."

"Saber-toothed cat?"

"Still got big teeth."

"House cat?"

"That's a given," said Felicia.

"What about the witch thing?" Matt asked.

"Let's just say that there's a bit of truth about witches having cats," said Felicia. "Thing is, the real witches are the cats."

"And the old women thing?" Matt asked.

"Nothing wrong with visiting a friend," said Felicia. "Magic tends to grant one a longer life than usual. Of course, when you make a friend back when you were younger, and leave for a few decades, only to come back to visit them, they tend to look like they're in their forties or fifties, while you have the physical fitness of a human in their mid twenties."

"I see," said Matt. "Um, what about you?"

Felicia chuckled. "Don't worry, I'm only twenty. We'd at least have a few good decades together. Can't say I'd be strictly faithful to you for longer than that, but as my grandmother always said, 'Make sure to visit the good ones in their final days.' Guess she would know - she was there for most of her lovers in their final days, including my grandfather come to think of it. So has my mother with those prior to my father."

"So, am I your first?" Matt asked.

"We'll have to see on that one," said Felicia. "I'm new to dating myself."

Matt chuckled nervously. "Don't blame you there."

"Well, let's get started," Felicia said.
