"I'm getting a bit peckish, is there any good place to eat around here?" You look up to Sasha, seeing her eyes light up with joy. You weren't all that hungry yourself, but you could tell your date was in need of a meal and this would be an easy way to score some points with her.
"Haha, we don't have to go far for that. Like I said, this arcade has great food on the side. Come, let's get us some." She motions for you to follow her as she makes her way towards the restaurant. Her excited pace is difficult to keep up with, but her large form makes her easy to follow. With lovely weather outside you both decide to sit on the terrace, enjoying the weather and soon some deep fried snacks.
Sasha was already halfway through her meal when you had barely started. She ordered a portion befitting her larger stature, but even that wouldn't stop her from finishing her meal first. But you were more surprised to see that apparently monsters and humans loved the same food.
"Huh, I always thought you would eat more monster-y foods. Not sure where that came from."
"Why would we need that? You humans got good taste." She smirks, trying to sound a little vague. Was she talking about human cuisine or... You shake off the thought and ask her about something else.
"What you did earlier with that tongue is amazing. I didn't know it was so strong."
"Hehe, it's nothing. You're quite light. Oh, wanna see something cool?" She smiles excitedly. You raise a curious eyebrow and nod. Sasha leans in and grabs a single potato chip from your plate. Suddenly she throws it up high in the air. The bright sunlight makes it almost impossible for you to see. But the swift pink blur lashing up towards it strikes true, sticking to the chip and yanking it into Sasha's waiting maw.
"Whoah... I could barely even see that. It was so fast."
"Teehee, yup, we used to catch our prey like that. You had to be quick and strong because well... Stealth isn't really an option when you're this tall."
Sasha idly reaches over and grabs another chip. She's already finished her own large plate and looks ready for another. You look up, expecting to see another feat of precision and speed from her tongue. But instead you're surprised by a sharp crash right in front of you. You look down and see your plate is missing. Your eyes dart to the frog woman who has her mouth closed and a mischievous smirk on her face. After a few seconds the white ceramic of your plate pushes out from her lips. She retrieves it and puts it down like nothing weird just happened. You roll your eyes at her, forcing the frog woman to stifle a laugh.
"Well, I guess food's done. Wanna try and earn some more of those or shall we cash in and head elsewhere?" You point at the ball of tickets sitting on the ground beside her.
