On the first day of having no adults around, Jake's friends came by to hang out. Naturally, he had told them his parents were going to be leaving, so of course it was only a matter of time before they came by to hang out. Jake had three friends that he regularly hung out with, Eric, Taylor and Alex, and they were all in his grade with him. The four of them knew each other since middle school, and they were practically inseparable at school, even having numerous sleepovers and going out together once they could drive.
Jake and Mowgli were playing video games together, and when Jake heard the door knock, he skeptically walked over, shrugging at Mowgli as he had no idea what it was. Much to his delight, he saw his three best friends waiting. "Guys, you're here?" he asked, and Taylor said, "Yeah, of course! Your parents are gone! We can have as much fun as we want!" and Jake said "Hell yeah! Come on in! You guys can stay over if you want!" and Taylor said, "Oh, we plan to!"
As the four came in, Eric said, "Hey, there's our big boy!" and Mowgli said, "Hey guys, how's it goin?" Mowgli knew Jake's friends almost as much as Jake did, and he was usually included whenever they did stuff together. Despite the fact that they seemed to look at Mowgli a lot, Mowgli wasn't self conscious about his weight, as the guys were all actually quite nice about it, and had always reassured him if he ever felt bad about his weight, even encouraging him to eat however he wanted!
If anything, Mowgli would indulge himself more when they were around thanks to this encouragement, and these two weeks would surely be no different. Soon, they exchanged greetings and Jake's three friends settled in the house. After a bit...
