Interrupted

Mowgli kept drinking, enjoying the sweet, chocolatey flavor of his own milk when he heard a loud, but somewhat high-pitched gasp. Mowgli turned his head slightly, looking over at the source of the gap, his teat still in his mouth. He saw that the gasper was none other than Ranjan, who had come to look for Mowgli. Ranjan was quite taken aback by this whole sight. He couldn't figure out what was weirder, the fact that Mowgli was suddenly super fat, the fact that he had a big-pink udder now, or the fact that he was greedily sucking down his own milk.

Mowgli, who's face turned deep red, spat out his udder immediately, trying to play this off even a little, as Ranjan merely stared bewildered at him, not even able to come up with a question for a few moments before he finally said, "What happened?" and Mowgli said, "Look, Ranjan, it's nothing for you to worry about. It's none of your business, so why don't you go play in the jungle." Mowgli was super embarrassed, and also preturbed, feeling like he got caught doing something dirty, and he didn't want to be seen like this, let alone have someone asking him questions about it when he barely had any idea what was going on.

Ranjan ignored him, asking, "How did you get so big, and how did you get that thing?" and Mowgli sighed and said, "Sometimes it's best to just not ask questions so you don't have to worry about it. Just please let me get back to what I was doing." Ranjan looked through the clearing, seeing the fruits before saying, "Was it those black and white fruits?" and Mowgli sighed and said, "Yeah". Mowgli started to come to think of Ranjan as a little brother, but he was starting to realize how annoying little brothers could be as well. He was pretty big at this point, so he wasn't in much of a position to stop Ranjan from doing anything he didn't want him to do, though he was still mobile. If Mowgli had his way, he would get all the fruit and all his milk to himself, but he wasn't quite sure if that was in the cards. It seemed like Ranjan was not just going to leave like he wanted him to.
