Unknown to you, Tracey looked back to see if you were following then ducked into Emma's bedroom where she found Emma grinning just as wickedly. "This is going to drive him crazy." Giggling, Tracey said. She sighed, still smiling. "How did it feel, literally being in my body for a while?"
"It was intense!" Whispering, Emma said. "The freedom I felt was incredible!"
"There is a dark side to everything, Emma." Grinning, Tracey warned. "Tim thinks he knows all there is to know about me." She chuckled. "Wouldn't he be surprised to know I am the head witch in this region."
"So why do you string him along like that?" Showing some worry, Emma asked. "We both know you can literally have anyone you want." She paused. "If you hurt him..."
"Oh, Emma, you are just a beginner to magic compared to me." Lightly, Tracey said. "Besides, Tim is more valuable to me than the most handsome, wealthy male fool this world can offer."
Emma raised a single eyebrow. "Really?"
Tracey giggled, a wicked grin on her face. "Tim is a human familiar."
Emma gasped, raising a trembling hand to her mouth as if to hold back a scream. A familiar was normally a cat or owl with unimaginable magical power. Although they could not use this power, they could give some or all to a witch or coven, greatly enhancing their magical might. For a familiar to be human was very rare, for that human to be a boy was extremely rare. You were quite literally one in a billion.
"If he were to be transformed into a girl..." Whispering, she said.
"She would easily take my place as head witch." Smiling, Tracey said. "I'm not about to let that happen. I like him better as my little familiar boyfriend."
"Answer me this, Tracey, head witch." Why did you allow me to swap bodies with you to play a prank on Tim?"
"Well, it was your dream to be eighteen, no matter the cost, right?" Grinning, Tracey asked. Emma nodded and Tracey gave another wicked grin. "I allowed this for two reasons. One, to test your brother's loyalty to me. And second...."
