Blake's face went pale white. As if her own desperation weren't bad enough, now it seemed her mom was bursting to go as well.
Just as she was trying to think up some kind of excuse to get off the stage, Sabrina raised her arms in the air as though she were about to conduct an orchestra.
"Now if you'd all please just direct your attention to my eyes..."
And as Blake did so, it occurred to her now that there was some kind of ethereal glow emanating from Sabrina's eyes. No, not a glow. Colors. First blue, then red, then green, and everything in between. They seemed to just flow out like waves, inviting Blake in.
"Take slow deep breaths, and keep gazing into my eyes. No need to be afraid. They're quite pretty as you can see..."
Blake couldn't deny it. Those colors were marvelous. Like a beautiful art gallery come to life. She hardly even noticed as her breathing became slow and steady.
"Don't think. Just give me all of your attention. Nothing else around you matters..."
Blake absentmindedly wondered if her mother and friends admired the lightshow just as much as she did. Yet for some reason she couldn't will herself to turn her head. She couldn't get enough of it.
"You may find yourself feeling a little tired. Your eyes getting heavier and heavier..."
She was right. Blake found herself blinking rapidly. The cat girl could feel the call of sleep beckoning her. It was so hard to keep her eyes open. But she just had to. She needed to keep watching these lights.
"But that's okay. I promise you that the show will go on. Even when you close your eyes, you'll find the colors still dancing in front of you..."
A sense of warm relief filled Blake. She could sense the truth in Sabrina's words. Everything was going to be just fine. The churning sensation in her tummy didn't bother her in the slightest.
"There's no more need to resist. Just let your eyes drop. Relax. Slip into a peaceful slumber..."
In her last conscious thoughts, Blake decided that sounded like a wonderful idea.
...And relax."
Blake did just that.

BBrrrrrrfffffllllllrrrrrrPPPPP!
Sabrina just managed to stop herself from snickering at her volunteers' outbursts. The same couldn't be said for the chuckling audience members behind her.
"Which of them was that?!" She heard a voice crow.
Truthfully she wasn't quite sure. By the sounds of it, there were at least two girls who let fly. Sabrina could have sworn she saw the younger Belladonna tilt her ass ever so slightly as she drifted off into trance. And as she looked over at the heiress she could make out what seemed to be a relieved look of satisfaction.
