Wonder Woman had just arrived back home to her remote safehouse after a long day of working up a sweat fighting villains. Today had been an exceptionally hot day and Wonder Woman was beat. Thankfully, there were no world-ending threats lately...so that left her a bit of time to relax.
The safehouse was located in Washington, DC. Her base of operations was now that area due to being unable to come and go between Themyscira and the world of man. There were a few exceptions, but those weren't common.
It was more of a bunker provided to her by the U.S. government so they could call upon her when needed. Steve Trevor sometimes visited, but he was busy on his own duties.
However, upon arriving at the hidden doorway, she knew something was amiss. The keypad on the wall could only be accessed by scanning her thumb-print...but it had clearly been tampered with.
It almost appeared as though someone had with great precision, rewired it. A panel was loose on the side, definitely the work of an expert.
Quickly and quietly she slipped inside and turned on the lights. Everything appeared to be in order....but that just meant whoever was in here was hiding!
Behind a picture frame holding a photograph of Steve Trevor and Diana together...there was a very minuscule villain.
The villain's codename was Inch-Worm, and he utilized shrinking technology based on those used by The Atom. He had been hired by Amanda Waller to gain intel for leverage against Wonder Woman.
Unfortunately, when he was rewiring the locking mechanism outside the door, it fried his size tech!
So now here he was, stranded inside the notoriously brutal amazon princess' safehouse...at a helpless size..and he STILL needed to retrieve the leverage!
