The sound of the cackling goblins was suddenly drowned out by the sound of a banging sound. It sounded like a drum, only one made of boulders. It was so loud and lacking in tone, the goblins stopped to see if it was an earthquake. "Hammer and chisel. Grind and smash. Keep on hitting on you will find cash" sang a hearty, husky sounding voice before a goblin was suddenly sent flying across the room like a rag doll. Sam looked up to see all the goblins were now engaged in combat with some towering figure. In the dim light and the hero's speed, it was hard to make them out. All he knew was that they were large. Slamming their immense form into the goblins, breaking every bone in there body. All the while singing and dancing as they attacked. Sam's fear was beginning to give way, as he now fully believed he was saved. He even started cheering for the mysterious hero.
However, as the person swung towards the last goblin, they tripped and flew across the room, carried by their immense form. Sam's clapping slowed down, as he realised they were falling towards him. He closed his eyes and braced himself for the impact. Fortunately, they landed just shy of him. Though the impact on the ground was so great, he felt the earth crack beneath him. "Damn, what did I even trip on" said the hero, whose voice was now even more clearly that of a woman. As she stood up, Sam was stunned to see that she was a dwarf. She hard dark chocolate like skin and braided hair done up tightly in a knot. Leather garments with gems sewn into them decorated her upper half. If you were looking at just that, you'd think she was just another dwarf. But her lower half was at least 5 times bigger than the rest of her. Immense tree trunk like legs that gave her an extra 8ft in height. Wide enough to make a horse look nervous and completely unscarred despite all the broke goblin weapons it had smashed.
As the last goblin took its chance to flee, the rescuer reached down to help Sam up. "Well that was a close on. Not the goblins, I mean me falling on you. Ha, would have been a pretty poor rescue if I squished you. Names Sally by the way" said the dwarf, laughing at her comment while Sam struggled to even smile as he looked at the crater her ass had formed. "Hi, I'm Sam. Thanks for saving me" said Sam but Sally shook her head. "Oh you are not rescued yet Sam. That goblin escaped and there may be more before we get out of here. I will therefore escort you out. If they show up again, I will dance them into submission" she said as she began swaying her hips back and forth. A seductive display but one that did make Sam nervous, as it was like casually swinging an axe around. If this girl was as clumsy as she had just demonstrated, did he really want her protecting him. "Or, I can always keep you somewhere safe?" said Sally, looking surprisingly nervous as she said it, like she was asking him out on a date rather than saving him.
