"All right..." you sighed.
"So, I'm going to do silk wraps for your nails." Ellie said.
"Silk what?" you asked.
"It's like acrylics, but less permanent and easier to remove." Ellie said.
That was good enough for you. You sat down and let her get to work, buffing your already short nails into evenness. Once that was done, she applied a clear solution, and then put a small piece of fabric on top of each of your fingernails, shaping it to the nail, before placing them underneath a small machine that gave off a blue light.
Once both hands were done, Ellie applied a different solution and put them back under the light, before shaping them into a modest length, and polishing them with a french style, with the tips painted white, and the rest a soft pink.
"Wow..." you remarked as you wiggled your fingers around.
"Classic, simple, and it goes with everything, so we won't need to keep re-doing them." Ellie smiled. "And be careful not to smudge them."
