Growing up with Divorced Parents had made you (Mark) very protected of your younger brother (Adam) who definitely was hit harder by the divorce.

It seemed to make him more eager to please people, often being manipulated by bullies and the like.

While you'd been Studying abroad, Your Dad had met someone, you didn't really get much of a chance to meet her, but you knew she was young. Being only like 5 or 6 years older than you.

They'd quickly gotten engaged and the Wedding was during Exam week for you so you'd barely managed to be there for it, You'd Met your Dad's Fiancé, Now Wife, she seemed... nice. And then you had to immediately get back to school.

After you graduated you were excited to come back home. Spend some time with your brother as you tried to get into the workforce.
