She was currently siting along behind Beacon trying to get some piece and quiet. The girl had been bullied by some of Cardin’s team for being a rabbit Faunus. While most people at Beacon treated Faunus with respect, there were always racist that slipped in. It didn’t help that Velvet had a lot of stereotypes bunny Faunus had. She liked Carrots (Sue her), she was shy and easily frightened, and didn’t really stand up for herself.
Velvet knew she should, but if she beat up Team CRDL (Something she could do easily) they would bully other Faunus. Plus, she didn’t like using violence against other people. She only wanted to fight Grimm and take pictures. Was that so wrong?
“Maybe Coco’s right and I should just stand up to them.” Velvet sighed, kicking the ground.
It was then she noticed a black book with gold writing. Picking it up, she stared at the cover.
Book of Reality.
Opening he book, she read the first page with the instructions and her eyes widened.
“Okay... this is a prank.” Velvet giggled to herself. “No way something like this would exist. Someone probably left it here to see people’s reaction.” Looking around, she didn’t see anyone who would have easy access to her. “Really?”
For some strange reason, part of her felt like she had to test this.
“I guess it wouldn’t hurt.” Velvet shrugged, pulling out a pencil. "If it is a prank, nothing will happen. if something does... I'll cross that bridge when I come to it."
