With some nimble steps and quick reflexes, Charlotte paced over to the fruit she had picked out when she first laid eyes on the garden. It was a pear tree that stood proud and high and Charlotte wondered how would she get up to the branches. She scratched her chin for a bit and jumped back in shock as the branch lowered itself down towards her.
"Um..hello?" She politely asked the tree. The branch drooped but didn't react to the woman's voice. The e-celeb took very precise steps until she could reach a hand towards the branch and pluck a fruit off. She jumped back,waiting for the sign that the tree was a sentient being. Nothing came from her theft.
"I better get outta here." She mumbled. Placing the pear into her pocket, Charlotte made her way back towards the outer rim of the garden. There Elena stood tapping her foot up and down,her eyebrow raised as the woman approached.
"Sorry Miss Elena, I was just trying to pick out my fruit for that 'delectable' food you were offering." Charlotte lied to the guide.Unbeknownst to her, Elena knew exactly what she had done. In some sealed off area of the facility, a small betting pool had been going to see what fruit Charlotte picked.
Elena skillfully acted as though she believed that lie.
"Why of course! I do apologize if I seemed like I was admonishing you for your selection." Elena said."Have you've picked your course?"
"Pear." Charlotte replied. Elena nodded at that fact.
"Good choice, well it seems the rest of our little group has gotten enough of out gardens and would like to see where our 'magic' happens. We'll meet at the tail end of the chocolate river." Elena explained. She sauntered off with a smirk, Charlotte shrugged at that fact. With eager hands,and a much more eager mouth, she took a bite of the pear. Instantly her taste-buds were overwhelm, it was like eating pear plus one!
Charlotte's bites became rapid chunk taking off of the pear, which she soon finished in under three minutes. She licked her lips and wiped her hands onto her top.
"Let's go see the rest of this place." Charlotte announced before she expertly hid the core of the pear under some shadowed bushes.
