Chapter #8

The Great Escape

As Psy pushed the cart containing the leftovers and Jane up to the train, Jane couldn't help but feel nervous. Any number of things could go wrong with this escape, and if she was caught, only one punishment awaited her: being forced to eat until she literally weighed a ton, making sure she'd never move again.

She could hear Psy talking with someone through all the leftovers covering her. There weren't many guards in the kingdom, but the train did have at least one to insure no leftovers got stolen. But escape attempts were never even considered, so the guards didn't bother to check the carts themselves.

Eventually, Jane heard the talking stop, and the cart started moving forward again. After a few minutes, it stopped.

"OK, we're in the clear." Psy said. Jane slowly poked her head out of the cart, and saw that Psy was correct: they were in the farthest train car, and it was moving. Jane was finally free!

"Psy, you have no idea how happy I am!" Jane said. "I'd hug you if I could get out of the cart."

Psy smiled and used her psychic abilites to gently lift Jane out of the cart and set her nearly 900 pound body onto the floor.

"I have a friend waiting for us at our next stop. He's got fake identities all set up for us." Psy explained.

"Great." Jane said, as she absent-mindedly stared eating leftovers. Though free from the kingdom, she was still a glutton. "Where are we heading?"

Psy smiled. "This train is taking us straight to the..."
