This choice: Sol's version of Chaos is possesing her body to grow power • Go Back...Chapter #7Sol's version of Chaos is possesing her bod... by: Rwbyfan420   Suddenly Blaze felt strangely lighter and.......warm? The water that soaked into Blaze's fur started to glow red before suddenly transforming into an ethereal inferno. Blaze startled by the sudden combustion stumbled back, falling back into the pond. She found that the flames still engulfed her, unaffected by the water, tho what surprised her more was that they didn't harm her, only give off some strange calming warmth. Blaze had recollected herself and began to pick herself back up, only for the flames to fly off her and merge together. The combined fiery red mass only hovered in front of blaze, looking like a miniature sun. blaze was completely bewildered by what was happing, she was used to magical fire but not any that acted on its own. The fireball then started to grow, its flickering becoming more and more violent. As the fireball distorted it elongated, twisting, bending and splintering. eventually forming into shape resembling a simple humanoid with a blank head and teardrop like arms and legs. The fire making up its head roared before falling and forming into a set of dreadlocks, its face calmed as a set of yellow eyes emerged setting it’s gave upon blaze. The inferno settling as it finished taking form. Blaze then realized what had appeared before her, a being that she had only seen in legends engraved into the walls of the temples guarding the Sol emeralds, the god of order.
"Sol?"
Blaze uttered confused and partially frightened seeing a myth come to life before her eyes, Blaze's current predicament completely escaping her mind at the moment. The being then bowed its head as unfamiliar voice spoke in her mind.
"my most humble apologies dear princess”
It raised its head, the voice ringing again.
"it has be quite awhile sense i encountered another. i had felt something holding a power similar to my own and had transferred myself into it with realizing it was sentient. On a more pleasant side of this it asperse your body has already accommodated to make room for the power you absorbed, that is.........good"
“I…wait hold on, the reason why my backside is so huge is because your like some reverse sponge, w-why, how?! why'd you put it all into my butt, why are you in some random lake underground, why are-"
Blaze paused in a moment of realization.
"what do you mean by good?"
Blaze starred back at Sol, trying to not be intimidated but Sol just narrowed their gaze as they continued.
“i merely am stating how fortunate my situation is. you see it has been too long sense I had a suitable vessel and this is an opportunity I am not giving up. your body is already seems familiar with my embers and is already adapting to my presents"
Blaze understanding her foes intensions ready herself and took a fighting stance.
“Im sorry but, but my body is not something I'm willing to share”
Blaze leaps forward at lightning speeds, twisting her self midair, swinging her foot straight through Sol’s head cause the water a her heals to turn a trail of steam. Blaze Landed at the other end of the cave, not nearly as gracefully as she would have liked. Blaze was not used to her new weight she almost overshot herself into the wall. The displaced flames of Sol’s body reformed immediately, Sol seemingly completely unfazed.
“this is pointless. You have no means of stopping let alone hurting me”
Blaze found that her opposites resilience was something that was going to be very frustrating to deal with but not nearly as much as that condescending attitude she thought. Blaze leaned forward throwing her arms behind her, sparks emitting form hands before blasting off. She again flew through Sol but was able to catch herself better letting her immediately turn back to Sol, continuing to deliver a flurry of strikes agent the god but no matter how much she let on, nothing seemed keep Sol down.
“nothing you do can hurt me princess and it isn't amusing to watch you try. What you see before you is merely a fraction of myself acting as a way for you to speak with me. majority of myself here is already part of you. fighting will not lead you anywhere, so please, do not make me ask you again to stop”
Blaze let off a tired laugh.
“If you wanted someone who gave up easily.....then you've got worst person you could get”
Blaze was getting exhausted, her added weight causing her to put in much more effort in her movements putting quit the toll on her stamina and the fact Sol was able to reform form all the damage she dealt didn't help. Blaze was start lose faith in her ability to win. She felt she just needed something to help push her forward and close the gap, just then blaze had an idea.
“majority.....of your power....is already within me. Thats what you said right?"
Sol merely gave a look of annoyance.
"Then how about i use it for myself then!”
Blaze had felt Sol’s power within her but wasn't confident she could draw it out, however now it didn't matter if she was confident if she could do it she HAD to do it. Blaze pulled with everything she had left to bring it out, her body tumble as fell to a knee. To Sol, it had appeared she had finally gave up. Blaze felt she was on hill of gunpowder desperately trying to light a match that refused to burn. Blaze refused to admit defeat, she kept pushing and pushing, the strain clearly visible on her face but then, a spark was made and she ignited, exploding that hill into a wild inferno within her. Again blaze was engulfed in flames but now they burned even brighter than before like a firestorm made of pure rage and determination, illuminating the whole cave around them. Blaze took one final stance, the fire in her hands burning so hot it took on a bright blue color.
Sol gave sigh with look of disappointment on there face.
“yes. I did say, my power was within you”
As Sol then snaps their fingers. Blaze fell to the ground. The flames dissipating. Blaze body felt heavy, it was as if her body had just completely gave up on her, the best she was able to do was hold her head off the ground but now just staying awake was a struggle. Sol floated over to her
“you see while my counterpart caused only destruction and was sealed because of it I acted to maintain order, to help the people, to help life thrive but the people feared my actions and scattered me across the lands. To rebuild myself and continue my work is all I want and while I am unwavering in my goals it does not mean I am unjust”
Sol placed their hand on Blazes chin, lifting her head to meet Sol’s gaze, Sol's hand felt warm but there stare, it felt as if the sun was right in her face blaring down on her. Blaze had already felt weak but now it was like what little strength she had left to hold herself up was being drained.
“i never played to remove you of your body. I just want a body to allow me to be whole again. you don't have to be separated from that princess, Join with me. Become one with me and you can receive power like nothing you have ever had before”
(I don't know if the website bugged or if this was removed due to not meeting quality standard, but I have gone back and refined this to be of hopefully better quality while still following the rules to the best I can)   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
