As Mew flew off, many thoughts were going through your mind. Several that you were sure and made sure it was there. A part of you was angry that she just flew in, shrunk you down and let. Another one was excited, that not only did you meet Mew! The legendary Pokemon, what was suspected to be the ancestor of all Pokemon. You also got the chance to go and pat her, being playful about it. You can’t take a smile away from that fact.
And the last feeling, being less... admirable. You are a traveller, and ever since you were little you loved Pokemon. You didn’t want any as a trainer, you could barely take one as a pet. However you just adore all Pokemon. All the way from the elegant to the bloated.
Many times you’ve been called a Pokephile, a word that indeed make you cringe. It was not like you lustfully enjoyed it. You just loved their soft fur, or their hard bodies. Just patting them, rubbing them, nestling near them. It’s a love, that was weird to explain.
You try to keep it down, but it wasn’t easy. You get interested by all manner. You remember this one time you patted a Fennakin of a young trainer, and you were just there for an hour. It turned awkward real quick.
So that is why you came out here, Route 20, also known as the Winding Woods. Why? Because of the Pokemon Village. A place where all Pokemon belong. So many stories about mistreated Pokemon running there to be away from humans. Pokemon scared of humans staying deep into the forest. You want to go there, maybe because you want to treat Pokemon how good humans can be. Maybe you want to go over there and not be judged for the love of the Pokemon.
Being so small, by yourself in the forest you were left with a real conundrum. What to do? Chase Mew, well... maybe she is in that forest. It was a long shot but it was the best thing you can think.
Walking through the giant forest, you admit you were proud of yourself. You were able to be with Mew without being a total freak. It was like being with a celebrity, too scared to do something stupid. You can’t help but gush over the fact that you were with a cute legendary, you met Mew!
You were doing it for too long, you didn’t notice the moving tree ahead of you. Until it grunted.
“Tree!” It was angry, and scared you a bit. Although when you looked up, and saw the giant Trevenant, you were speechless.
The tree like Pokemon, was really beautiful. You were in awe of the trunk, unable to take your eyes off of the ghost. Was it trying to scare you? W-Well it wasn’t really working.
“Y-You are so amazing!” You shout up to the Pokemon, freaking it out a bit. “You must be pretty strong. I-I got to feel that bark!”
You run over much to the Pokemon’s surprise. As you run over there, you touch it and feel the bark. You can’t help but love what was happening. Not able to take your smile away from it.
“Your bark, it so comforting. It’s just like hugging a tree.” You say just touching it’s giant bark.
As for the Trevenant, who’s whole job is to scare of humans who get too close, needless to say was stunned. This human was smaller than the rest, and it wasn’t scared at all! In fact, the Ghost type was a bit scared of you! What was wrong with this human, and what was that smile sent up to the ghost!
“Please! Please let me touch your leaves!”
That was all the Pokemon needed to hear. The Pokemon was scared too much, running away as fast as it can and leaving you.
“H-Hey come back here!” You say chasing after the tree. You try to run as fast as you possibly can, trying to sprint your way over to her. You really do try your best but the Pokemon was so much faster than you! You try your best to follow, but the Pokemon was gone.
Most people would be scared of that Pokemon, not you. You loved touching it’s bark, feeling it up.

Okay maybe you were not really the right type of guy! Maybe you do have a weird thing, but... at least you like Pokemon.
Walking forward for a while, until finally you look up. Was that a Starly!
That is a Sinnoh Pokemon, just sitting there on a branch. How you want to just cuddle with those feathers. With how small you are, maybe you can have so real fun about it. Being more optimistic, cause of the beautiful giant Pokemon that were above you.
Unable to take your smile about it, when you see it fly away. That was such a big Pokemon, it could probably peck you into it’s beak, you could probably be stuck in it.
Okay... that was kind of a weird way of thinking, best not to share about it. You calm yourself down about it, relaxing and realising that... you were not really scared about that.
Regardless, in this giant forest you continue to walk. You wonder how many Pokemon are gonna be freaked out about the fact that you were kind to them. You wonder what kind of Pokemon were in this forest, and how close the village is.
You’ve only lived in Kalos, so you only know Pokemon in that legion. However if a Starly is here, what other Pokemon were near. You start getting ideas of other forms, or maybe even another legendary. Hopefully Mew, you can just imagine how soft her fur would be.
A big smile about it, as you were funnily enough getting more and more excited about it.
After waiting for a while, just walking through the forest. Something happens.
