"I guess, we'll find out which one you'd rather when you do it," the hooded figure stated to Fiona before moving onto the next person.
The figure moved onto the other person Jack could've swapped with, his Spanish teacher, Marie Lopez.
Marie knew this was a joke now, it had to be, Jack was always acting up in class. She just didn't know how he was doing this or why he would pretend to be forced to swap with his mother and the condition to undo that swap. Of course he picked his mother over her, that's how he would be able to trick her.
"Marie, would you rather, be able to pay for your father's medical expenses but be despised by him for the rest of his life or give him a better life until he passes away?"
Marie found herself able to move again, she looked over towards Jack, he shouldn't have known about her father and this was a twisted thing to offer. "What kind of sick joke is this?"
"It's no joke, Ms Lopez... answer the question or I'll make the situation even worse for you."
