Things aren't going so well

"Okay, so ...... I think maybe ......"Henry's big hand gently pulls you out into the yard.
"Darren, give us a moment to discuss this, will you?" Carmen interrupts Henry, her tone sounding a bit disappointed, as if sensing some hesitation and reluctance in the tone you just answered.
"Emmm, O... Okay." You stammer a bit in reply, you let go of her hand, maybe his hand?Really don't know who was holding your hand just now...Carmen's enthusiasm today is a bit beyond your expectations, you tell yourself mentally: I know this is a bit too much, but you need to calm down, she's your wife, that man is a traveler, just a traveler... You need to be calm, Darren.
Carmen said nothing more as she and Henry shared a somewhat stiff body and turned toward your house "I'll be quick... Well I mean we, we'll be right back, buddy." Henry turned his head a little awkwardly and waved, turning right back over to whisper something to Carmen.
"This doesn't feel good, is there something I'm doing wrong?" You shake your head and stand in the yard, watching the two ... maybe one? walked into your house and disappeared at the end of the hallway.

Meanwhile, in your bedroom.
"Hey, Carmen, what's wrong with you?" Henry asked several times, but still got no answer.
Their shared body suddenly stopped and crossed their arms in front of their chests.
"Oh my God, you men, don't you get the feeling that Darren doesn't like me very much right there?" Carmen was a little frustrated "I don't know what to do, I expected this before I came home, but I don't know what to do now at all..."
"Ah sorry...I thought your...my...hmmm...our heart was beating so fast just now because you were so excited." Henry was also a little overwhelmed and could only reassure Carmen: "You know the plan we're involved in will take at least a month, and after it's over I'll get another $4,000, and If we continue to participate in the observation there will be two $6,000s in the next month, and in the next month there will be two $8,000s ..."
