It was supposed to be a good day for the young brothers, Brian and Timmy while they and their family as they were all shopping at the shopping mall. But things changed when the terrorist organization, Talon attacked.
Timmy and Brian remembered that moment when the Omnics, war machines hacked by Talon, caught their parents in the line of fire. They were among two of the two hundred expendable victims rained down by bullets from Talon's men and machines. Timmy and Brian took cover in the shadows cast by the pillars, the benches, and the potted plants, helplessly watching as the civilians were mercilessly slaughtered by Talon, hearing their victims scream in terror and falling silently to the overwhelming gunfire.
Brian took a peek and spotted a phone on the other side of his hiding area. Knowing what had to be done, he firmly instructed Timmy to remain in his hiding area as he went for the phones. Stealthy as Brian was, when he tried contacting the police for help, his whispers attracted the attention of two Talon soldiers aiming their weapons at him. Timmy gasped too loudly, and by the time he covered his mouth, the Talon soldiers moved in on him, their weapons raised at him.
Just before someone pulled the trigger, one of the Talon soldiers stopped the other from shooting the boy and received an order to take any survivor back to their base. The Talon soldiers then grabbed the brothers by the arms and dragged them away kicking and screaming from the scene of their family's slaughter. They, among dozens of other crying survivors, were forced outside by gunpoint and taken to an aerial mobile carrier in the parking lot. Out of the victims who were taken, Timmy and Brian were the youngest.
The aerial carrier carried the kidnapped victims to Talon’s secret base somewhere in a snowy mountain range, where exactly, no one could tell. When the ship arrived at the base, the victims were forcefully disembarked and led into a dark corridor, thrown into energy cells designed to prevent them from escaping. The boys were surrounded by dark armored assailants with weapons and the dozens of people crying for the trauma of the wanton carnage, the deaths of their friends and families, or the fear for their lives. Timmy cried for all of the above while Brian could only hold him close to him for comfort.
Not long after they were locked, the doors opened, and through that door came three of the dangerous women in Talon: Moira, the Irish mad scientist; Sombra, the Spanish hacker and chameleon; and Widowmaker, the French femme fatale sniper. Timmy gasped and curled up in a ball, and Brian pulled his hood over his head hoping that Widowmaker wouldn’t notice him because he was there when Brian slugged her with Doomfist’s gauntlet, the very weapon which she sought to ascertain and failed to do so.
"This is a lovely batch of test subjects our troops have collected," Moira observed, admiring the variety of poor victims in her own sadistic glee. "Each of these subjects has the potential to become a part of something grand, something that will not only defeat Overwatch once and for all, but expand the science of borders to new horizons. For this, we need only choose one for our molecular compression veil. Now, who shall it be?"
As the three villainesses passed their cell, Brian lifted his head only an inch to partially show his face, his eyes briefly meeting with Widowmaker's. He quickly averted his gaze, but the sound of high heels striding towards his cell confirmed his fear. "You zhere, boy!” Widowmaker called, banging on the cell's energy field. “Yes, you, I seem to recall zhat face! Show eet to me now!"
With one giant bang against the field, Timmy hugged against his brother tighter. Brian complied and showed the French assassin his face, and suddenly, a heated Widowmaker unsheathed her signature rifle, and aimed it at the boys. "Zhat face! I know who you are, boy! Zhen zhe other one is...!"
Brian lifted his head only an inch to partially show his face, and Widowmaker's fury increased. "I knew it! You are zhe boy who humiliated me in zhe museum! You ruined our operation to retrieve Doomfist's gauntlet! Now you must pay!"
"Hold on, so that chico’s the boy who slugged you with Doomfist’s gauntlet?” Sombra asked, suddenly bursting out with laughter. "Oh, dama araña, that must have been embarrassing for you!"
"Mord ta langue, Sombra!" Widowmaker barked at the Spanish hacker. "He humiliated me, and now he and his brother will pay for their crimes dearly!"
Being someone with no remorse, Widowmaker had no qualms with killing kids, especially one who was involved with her failure for her mission to retrieve Doomfist's gauntlet. Just as she was about to squeeze the trigger, a clawed hand belonging to the skinny redheaded belonging to Moira gently shoved the gun away. "As much as I enjoy a revenge killing from time to time, Widowmaker, I would advise restraining your impulses for the time being," Moira said, approaching the boys' cell. "Right now, I would personally like to inspect the boy."
Moira nodded her head towards one of the Talon soldiers, and the soldier disabled the energy field. The soldiers restrained the boys, and Moira grabbed each of them by the arm. "Ow! Owww! Please, let me go! You’re hurting me!" Timmy begged, thrashing in the soldier's grip to break free.
"Quit struggling, boy. I am only going to inspect your vitals," Moira said as she pulled up a holovid medical file on Timmy.
Timmy sobbed and cried while Brian remained defiantly silent. His narrowed eyes met with Widowmaker's, and both of them exchanged the same animosity towards each other for a different reason. "Hmmm… oh… I see…" Moira swiped the holovid away and closely inspected the boy’s sobbing face, holding his cheeks with one hand underneath his chin. "Ahhh… intriguing. Very intriguing. And now you, young one."
Moira pulled up another holovid medical, this time on Brian. She hummed curiously, then contently, a satisfied smirk spread across her facial features. "Yes... perfect. You both are young, your bodies are constantly changing, and your vitality seems healthy enough for you to become two of my first test subjects.”
"Test subjects!?" Brian screamed for the first time since his capture. "I'm not letting you use me and my brother as your own guinea pigs!"
"You do not have a choice," Moira replied curtly. "You two should be honored for being the first and youngest test subjects for my latest experiment."
With a flick of her head, Moira gestured the soldiers to drag the boys down the dark corridor and on the other side of a hexagonal door. The Talon soldiers forced the boys into Moira's laboratory, an expansive white room with a desk and a computer, and a few ominous chambers with a metal reclining hospital bed.
"Wait! What are you going to do us!?" Brian demanded to know.
"You are going to be the first test subject of my matter reduction veil," Moira informed the boy as she typed in the commands. "To put it lightly, this veil of radiation will reduce your size until you are 1/10 of your original size."
"Wait! That thing is a shrinking machine!?"
"Quite right, and I look forward to the results."
With a flick of the head, Moira motioned her soldiers to restrain...
1.) ...Timmy, her youngest living test subject.
2.) ...Brian, the teenager who punched Widowmaker with Doomfist's gauntlet.
3.) ...both boys, whose vitals were sufficient enough for them to be shrunken down together.
