This choice: Evan sees some Pokémon nearby. • Go Back...Chapter #6A mythical encounter. by: Nenen   Evan was marveling at the sudden revelation that he was in the world of Pokémon. He started to look around trying to see if he could spot more pokémon. And indeed, he saw some. Bird Pokémon like Pidgeys and Taillows, land Pokémon like Zigzagoons, Rattatas and the like. He could have sworn he also saw one Pokémon change into another at one point. Maybe a Ditto?
Evan was excited. He was in the world of Pokémon! There’s so many things to see here! Well, first off he should probably figure out where he is, as in what region. That may give him an idea of how to proceed. He was in the middle of pondering this when a silhouette caught his attention. Curious about it, and thinking it may be a Pokémon he set off in search of it, unaware of a distortion in space near the entrance of the temple he came out of.
“... interesting. Arriving as something unlike anything else in this world… wonder what changes he will bring here...” An unheard voice without any sound speaks, before vanishing along with the distortion in space. Unseen by anyone and anything.
Evan, for his part, kept following the silhouette he saw, going through trees without a care due to his unique state of being. Because of this he was able to start gaining on the evasive figure that seemed to have to weave through them all. Eventually, they both arrived at a small clearing in the forest, flowers surrounding a pond of water with a small rock jutting out of it. The scene was very beautiful, stopping Evan in his tracks as he took it all in.
“Wow…” It was then that he remembered why he had come here in the first place. THe evasive silhouette, which most definitely had to have been a Pokémon. Then, he spotted them. Near the pond of water there was a figure that clearly wasn’t human. Evan couldn’t contain his shock at seeing what the figure was. It was…
Evan couldn’t believe it. There, near the pond was a Mew. A real Mew. Floating there in the air without a care in the world. Evan slowly got closer, hoping to not spook them and to get a better look. It seemed however that the Pokémon either couldn’t see him or was too engrossed in what it was doing to take notice of him. When he got close enough he saw the Mew was in a thinking position, floating and spinning around as if pondering something. Evan froze in place when the Mew stopped spinning and started looking straight at him, then started to float closer. He moved aside only to realize that the pokemon wasn’t looking at him, but at another pokemon that had appeared in the clearing behind him. It was a Lopunny, who seemed to be entranced by the beauty of the clearing and didn’t notice the Mythical Pokémon on the side of it.
Evan, as well as Mew, were watching with curiosity as the Lopunny all but shove Mew aside to go look at the flowers closer to the pond. One would think the mythical Pokémon would be a priority. Mew seemed to think the same if their huffing was of any indication. Evan couldn’t help but let out a chuckle that was unheard by anyone, then he…  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
