George and Susann were welcomed by the owners of the horse ranch.
They were informed that two valuable running horses were stolen last night and also one of their horse transport trailers was stolen. Of course, because the thieves were not riding away with the stallions…
Linda, the wife of the owner, showed Susann some photos of the two black horses.
Also they share the registration and number plate ID of the trailer.
George sends the number to the head quarter and asked his assistance to see if the could find out, if the trailer was seen somewhere…
Listing to the facts and how everything happened George and also Susann had the feeling and impression that this action was planned and maybe even with help of an insider.
They asked how much value the horses have and if there is something like an insurance or any more information….
The horses are very valuable and the insurance might only pay when they are not found or dead.
But the worse thing is that there is a competion next week, where they should run….Jan and the jockey invested a lot of energy and time and also money to participate and even win some price money and reputation!
George suggested that Susann interviews the jockey and he asked for the daughter, who seems to know a lot about the ranch and the horses.
Linda called her on the cell phone and she told that they might find her nearby the fountain on her favorite place of the ranch.
Linda told some other working girl to guide George there….
George was happily married and the stable girl or riding girl could be his daughter, but these tight trousers and boots have something….Anyway no further interest into her, he had a case to solve…
