You jump and fall onto the pavement. With the adrenaline pumping through your veins and the scraping sounds of someone climbing the gate propelled you into a flat out sprint.
You hear the thump of someone jumping down after you but you don’t dare look back. You start to slow down and you hear footsteps gaining on you and you are wrestled to the ground
Turning onto your back, you see a human girl about 11 years old wearing a plain sports top and shorts. Her hair is cut short and compared to the other girls you saw incredibly thin. Through staggered breaths, you hear her say. “Hi, I- caught you.”
About 30 seconds pass and you try and move but she pins your arms by your sides. “Sorry... My name’s Nadia. What’s yours?”
“Jack”
“Nice to meet you, Jack. Thanks for running by the way. Dad always says I need to earn my food.” She drools on you and you wince in disgust.
“Oh, sorry, I’ll just eat you now.” She engulfs your head and you try and squirm but you are completely restrained. With relative ease, she pulls you into her hungry maw.. She eagerly swallows you down and you found yourself in her stomach.
She uprights herself and you hear a sigh of relief. “I almost feel bad for catching you, you got so far.” She reaches into her pocket and swallows 2 pills.
