Brigette pulled into the driveway and kept her car running for a moment. "All right, dude, we're here. Are you sure you don't want me taking you inside? It seems like quite the trek for your size" Brigette questioned. "Absolutely, I'll be fine," Jack assured. "But if I'm still like this tomorrow or something, you can give me a ride around school" he laughed. Brigette smiled. "Sure thing, Jack, just let me know. But I'll let ya get going, see you later". The two waved to each other and Brigette pulled out of the driveway then drove away. Now alone, Jack figured that this may be a good time to grow back and promptly took out the shrink ray. Within just a few moments, Jack was back to normal height and luckily for him, no one saw his growing.
Jack walked into the house and was greeted by his mom and sisters in the living room. "How was your day, sweetie?" his mom asked. Jack just shrugged and replied: "Nothing too special. Might hang out with Brigette or someone tomorrow, is that okay?". Carey nodded. "Just be back by five, okay? Your aunt and cousins are coming over for dinner". Jack sighed and nodded in understanding.
Ever since his favorite cousin, Michael, left for the military just over a year ago, he's had to deal with his other three cousins, Clara, Jess and Rachel in addition to his own younger sisters. Rachel was the oldest of the three at 22. She liked to drink quite a bit and since Michael was no longer here to help filter her behavior, she often messed around with Jack and had some tumbles. Jess was the middle child, the same age as Jack, 18, and was mischievous at heart. She always liked to team up with Jack's sisters and pick on him, often finding some way to humiliate him. Finally, Clara. Jack's aunt had adopted her a few years ago when she was a baby. Now five, Jack liked Clara the most out of the three because she was always super kind and genuinely liked to play games WITH him and not USING him. Jack's aunt, Aunt Martha, was now 50, and just like her sister, kept in excellent shape. She was always kind to Jack, but on occasion, would tease him.
Jack just waved to his sisters as he went up to his room, and they just gave him a nod. He just sat down on his bed and got on his laptop to watch Youtube or find something else entertaining as he thought about any ways possible to avoid his cousins as much as possible. He spent the rest of the night lounging around in his room, trying to scheme something to better his experience the next day, to little success. At least tomorrow was Friday.
The next day, Jack woke up at the normal 7:00, got dressed and prepared for the day. The girls were also up, dragging their feet as they dreaded another day of lame school. Jack, on the other hand, was a little bit brighter than them that morning, considering he might be able to use his shrink ray once again as he concealed it in his back pocket. A little time passes and everyone is finally ready to go. Everyone got in the car and Carey took them off to school.
At school, does Jack shrink himself before his classes begin or does he wait to do it later?
