Lendriss maintained eye contact with the increasingly more imposing creature of the forest, not only to show defiance, but to keep herself from drifting her gaze toward her more feminine features. Her curiosity might get the better of her otherwise, leaving her more susceptible to the nymph’s allure. Resolutely, she kept her mouth shut. Now was not the time to negotiate; not until she was in a better position to do so.
Almost immediately, she found herself regretting her decision as Glissa grinned widely, her eyes momentarily twinkling in the moonlight. “Actually, I’m delighted to continue. I was hoping I could use these,” giving her index and middle fingers a quick twirl, she maneuvered Lendriss’ prone body until her back was against the berry tree, then watched in approval as more branches snaked their way from the ground up and around the thicker branches holding her in place. Unlike their counterparts however, these branches began to rapidly bud, then blossom into bright, green flowers, each opening themselves toward the elf’s face.
“These are Mossbliss Lilies,” Glissa explained, caressing one of them with the back of their hand. “At my command, they emit a pollen with a particularly pleasurable scent. However, one tends to lose one’s inhibitions after inhaling it, rendering them extremely open to suggestion.” She glanced toward Fayetta’s “oohh” reaction with a knowing smile. The pixie had perched herself on a branch of the berry tree, chin resting on her hands and watching excitedly.
“As you may know,” she continued, slowly pacing back and forth in front of the elf, “my kind draw our vitality from the forest. We feel its feelings and we share its life force. This particular tree has been gracious enough to share itself with me, and I must say...” she paused to inhale deeply and take a quick feel of her enormous breasts, “mmmm...I haven’t quite felt anything like it before. There were many times I’ve summoned these lilies to ensnare all manner of filthy bandits and hunters, but I have never managed to summon this many and they never looked this vibrant. So, I apologize of I...overdo it a bit.”
Lendriss confidence inwardly faltered a bit at that last admission. “So she truly doesn’t know the extent of her powers. That could make her even more dangerous, especially with that last dose from the tree. Then again...I may be able to use her uncertainty to my advantage.” She managed a smirk despite her misgivings. “You may have had your way with commonfolk, but have you ever dealt with a sorceress before? Neither you nor that minuscule miscreant sitting in the tree have seen the full extent of my magic.” Out of the corner of her eye, she caught Fayetta’s aura turn a warmer shade at that jab, just as planned. “I’ve been holding back out of respect for your forest, but perhaps I—urghk!”
She was cut off by the branches tightening around her torso and pushing the air out of her lungs. Glissa giggled softly, idly running her fingers between her golden curls. “I’ve always enjoyed the stubborn ones. They end up being the most willing to do more outlandish tasks. Now...” she began as a mist began to waft out from within the flowers and cross Lendriss’ face, “shall we begin?”
